Whoops.

Must be nice never to be wrong.
I'll admit this speculation on these 3 players has paid off.
But if it makes you feel big in trawling old posts to find fault then crack on kid.

I thought I’d read what was said about TLT when we signed him and compare it with the current views of the critics of his recruitment. Even when it was reported that he had put in a confident performance at Sutton they remained silent.

Let’s hope that when he considers his future, he disregards what was written about him on here before he actually played. Perhaps those who prejudged his signing and were so disparaging in their expectations of his ability should apologise. I suppose the same might be said of Wood.

In contrast, numerous loanees have been lauded extensively based on YouTube videos of them scoring goals, most of whom have actually been disappointing.

It’s tempting to prejudge new signings, but quite often people get it completely wrong.

Compare Wrexham signing Jack Marriott on deadline day to the signing of Biamou a month later.

Biamou has already played more minutes, scored more goals and has contributed more to the more in-form team for probably a quarter of the wage.

But all of us, ranging from the most positive to the most negative fans would have taken Marriott if offered over a man who hasn’t played in 2 years and has never been prolific.

I think going forward now it will just be a case of “In McCann we trust”.

Say 2 million thank you’s then.

Go on. You know you want to really.
