Barnsley manager announcement
« on January 10, 2013, 07:58:01 am by AbsolutDRFC »
I too would like to withdraw my application for the job at Oakwell.
Similar to Sean O'Driscoll and Terry Butcher, I also feel that it's not the right time in my career to take this opportunity.

It is with regret that I can't help keep them in the Championship this season (nor League 1 next season).

Absolut.

 ;)

Mad Mick has a wealth of opinions on what managers should and shouldn't do.

AND he's a Barnsley fan.

Match made in Heaven.

They really are a classless lot of inbreds over there, making themselves look pitiful. Why can't they just keep their business a bit more private, no wonder noone wants the job.

Despite the heavy speculation this morning I have not pulled myself out of the running just yet, if the Rovers decline me I could be persuaded...

I think they have been keeping their business quiet, from listening to their chief executive yesterday on Radio Sheff he says these days due to social networks its virtually impossible to keep it out of the media. When the cat is out of the bag then the chief execs/Chairmen have to give interviews regarding this. It was Paul Walker tweeting "Butcher landing in Inverness for talks with Chairman etc" nothing from BFC.

I first found out about Saunders and Wolves from the Radio Sheff presenters on Twitter, its the way the world is these days. Agents, players & reporters on Twitter make it difficult for clubs to keep their business under wraps.

If thats the case, why has'nt the cat been let out the bag about the managers Rovers are approaching? The last 2 managers we employed were a shock to everyone and no one knew until it was virtually confirmed by the club.It looks like it could be the same again. My point being, you can keep it quite if you really want to.

A dunt think Jud an his ferret even want Dingle job.

Honestly tho, they are making a real mockery of it on the Dingle board of Directors, what a set of muppets at Oakwell.

Gentlemen we are graced with the best Board EVER!!!

Lee, you'd just sell all their best players to deliberately get BFC relegated......

Oh hang on, there's a fundamental flaw in that previous comment :)
