Rumours in the press that he might be going to Wrexham for a 'big' transfer.

Would be good for him, and hopefully we have a decent sell on clause if they do.

Don't forget, he was not good enough for us and out of his depth in League One. Now it's us who are not good enough for him and are out of OUR depth in League one!

Hope he and Whiteman get big money moves so we can spend the sell on money. Hopefully on players.

Wouldn’t want to see May play for us at the moment. Too likeable to see left alone feeding on scraps.

Whiteman has a deal at Preston North End until the summer of 2024 ie the end of next season.

I have no basis or knowledge whatsoever of the situation, only speculation. But I would be very (pleasantly) surprised if we had a sell on clause. I always reckoned they were put in contracts when selling a young player that was likely to improve significantly. I don't think Moore in particular, and maybe thus others in the club, would have put Alfie in that category at that time.

And for the record I have always been a big Alfie fan, heavily swayed of course by his wonderfully engaging character. I was sad to see him go and delighted for him that he has done so well.
