Am I missing something here?
He hasn't been in the team since the papa johns game against Barnsley, is he injured?
Not seen anything mentioned anywhere

I'd not write him off entirely. We've used a lot of strikers in the last two years and they've not had a sniff of goal. Hopefully with an attack minded philosophy that could change

Last season i thought he looked fairly decent in what was a very poor forward line. Thought with a full preseason and a drop in level he'd be a key player. Hopefully he can get a run of games without injury to show he's got it.

As it stands now you'd not be extending any contract thats for sure

Agreed, Reo did two high class things last season that made me think he could be top drawer, the goal he scored at Sunderland and then the reverse ball that put Martin in to score against Burton.  That suggests he is at his best when the ball is on the deck and he is running forward into space but for most of the time we have played him as a target man with his back to goal.  He could be another that looks a lot better under the new manager.

He's a talented young player - ideal we keep developing him. Can see him and Milller working well together eventually.

I think he’s a decent player. Has talent. Give him a chance under DS once fit… might be a revelation.

I played with DS as a kid at under 14 & 15 level and against him before that and he was always a striker. He was a very intelligent player, not the strongest or fastest but had unbelievable timing, he would time his runs in behind the defence to perfection when the pall was played on the floor, and would calmly slot the ball past the keeper one on one pretty much every time. Hopefully he can bring the best out of our strikers.

I hope ds can bring out the best in reo. Thought against Barnsley both him and Barlow were terrible. He seemed off the pace, very laboured and when he had one opportunity to let fly at goal he hesitated and lost the ball.

Hope a new style of play will bring out his best, score 1 goal and bring him some confidence.

I can hardly criticise anyone for their running style but when he runs his elbows move faster than his legs

Yes. His contract will run beyond this season so we be best off getting right behind him when he’s fit again. There’s a player there, he needs to regain fitness and confidence. We can help him with the latter by not writing him off.

Flattered to deceive so far. Too many injuries haven’t allowed him a good run of games. He has the ability, somehow he needs to get fit and stay that way. Needs to put himself about more, make a nuisance of himself. His career will Peter away if he doesn’t watch it.

Looks like he does too much weight lifting. Absolute unit.
