This is an issue that has to be taken up with the club.

Where have the specials gone?
Its almost impossible to get a bus after a match to get back to the station.
Not all of us can walk that far.

If you cannot provide public transport there should be free parking.

Buses run every 15 minutes after the game

Why should the club provide public transport?

We have arrangements with First for a dedicated service out of Car Park 3. Are you suggesting that this isn't happening?

I don't think that has operated for some time.

The regular service buses run every 15 minutes from opposite the stadium though.

My point is it should be happening. This issue has been taken up with them earlier this season so if its not happening then we need to know.

They no longer advertise the service on their website.

There were no "specials" from the car park for the Hartlepool game. I just managed to get on the normal bus but many people were left behind. I believe the arrangement with first bus has gone AWOL; there were no buses for a Saturday match I came to last season. (I can only make Tuesday night games normally.)

The stadium is miles from anywhere and I don't mind getting here by public transport from Scotland, but I do like to catch the only train back.

It IS an issue for the club to take up. If you can't get to and from the match easily without a car, you ain't gonna go.

Even walking round the mound behind the East stand to get to Carr House Road is a pain, as you have to go backwards for 200 yards first. Adds a quarter of a mile to the walk.

Bring back the days when Donny Transport would line up a load of special buses at the racecourse roundabout with an inspector organising the melee. And it only cost a tanner!

I'll take this up with the club and get a definitive answer.

Yes, they're putting out a statement to clarify the situation.
