When will their bubble burst. Ours is gradually deflating if we don’t get it right this summer we will be in the National league end of next season and we won’t find it easy to get back out.

. No reason there bubble will burst, with sensible investment with what the owner can afford they should have a promising future

They’d have to spend more to get out of national league than they would L2 it’s so competitive for so few spaces down there.

This is the easiest division to get promoted from but we’ve never come close. Shouldn’t have needed TB to put millions in to take us back up. A modicum of competence from either of our managers and the recruitment team would have had us playoffs

We looked at him and nearly signed him in the summer.

But we just let him trickle through our fingers.

Do we have a sell-on clause for Alfie May? Have never seen that confirmed before.

If we go down to NL we won’t get back not a chance.

We will need to find another JR to achieve that.  Bramall is just a caretaker owner now. He has no serious interest in football and never has really. He was persuaded by JR and DW to join the board. He didn’t do it because he was a proper Rovers fan.
Blunt is only interested in balancing the books and GB does a fantastic job generating revenue through Club Doncaster but has no real football acumen.

That’s not to say I am not extremely grateful to all 3 of them for keeping this wonderful Football Club solvent throughout their tenure. I am and we are very lucky in that respect.

What we are crying out for now is a JR type with passion and enthusiasm to join the board or someone who is a genuine fan who is seriously wealthy to buy the club outright.
Someone who can sell his vision to the Doncaster football public. Someone like JR who is willing and able to to talk to the media with enthusiasm and put DRFC back on the Footballing map.

Is there anyone out there please.?  If so please step forward because we need you now almost as much as we needed JR 25 yrs ago.
The difference now is this club is solvent so that makes us a very attractive proposition for a genuine fan with a cool 20 million that he can afford to lose and doesn’t need back.  Only way he gets it back is if we reach the Premier league.
80 million required min I should think to achieve that.
Well why not with possibly another 5 million more investment in the team in 2010 we could have made the Championship play offs at least.

If I had a spare 20 million I would be knocking on The 3 B’s door as we speak.  I am sure there are hundreds of us who would.

There must be someone surely.   ;)

Those who used to pull John Ryan and back these who are in charge. Even they must see the ambition died as soon his money run out and he left the building. Still they can keep winning at charity every day while our club goes to pot. They might be famous when they’re not here for all they’ve done.

Project Currie

Andrew Currie has been a director at chemicals giant Ineos since 1999, a year after the company was founded by fellow billionaire James Ratcliffe

If James Ratcliffe fails to buy Manu how about him and his old INEOS mate Doncaster born Andrew Currie BOTH   ( yes I do tilt at windmills) acquiring a joint stake in DRFC

Did you think that when we were in the conference Steve? Foster could be their Sullivan signing.
