Kits

Are we still with Oxen for next season?
Wonder what the design fairies will come up with for the upcoming season. Reading the apathy on here will anyone be interested.
Maybe release kit with a marquee signing modelling it on same day

This years away kit is an abomination, crap material like something off Donny market. And the replica kits I including ones I would buy if better quality are the same poor quality material.

This seasons home kit is best one we have had for many years imo.
We should keep it.
As a gesture of goodwill to the supporters who have had to endure the unbelievably dire football served up over the last 2 seasons.
The last 6 months could not even be described as Football.
Scoball I think it’s called.

I think the Oxen stuff is great, loads of good stuff been on offer.
The home kit was a good un, I didn't buy it as I've got tons of em all similar. The away kit marmite but I like it, I don't see any issues with quality either, not sure what some expect tbh.

Liked it when JR used to choose the kit design himself without any external input. Like a despotic autocrat in banana republic choosing flag and national anthem.

I agree CR, the home shirt is good and much better than the one in the relegation season. However, the away one an third kit have been awful, as have many of the training attire and the retro kits. I managed to get the two mid 80s kits via an online site which manufactured all South Yorkshire teams retro kits from the 80s and they were excellent quality. It is a shame the one's in the club shop are not of a similar quality as the green away one from about 83 and the Free press sponsor one from about 88 would have been two i would definitely have bought if they had been similar to the Grim up North site quality from a few years back. I had hoped they might have done the Green Hobbit mid 80s Cusack kit but unfortunately not.

Sure I saw something on Twitter the other day about leaking the new kit?

I’d keep the current shirt because it’s decent and to reward fan loyalty through this season and last. Spend your new shirt money on tickets instead.

Home goalie kit always green.

Bring in red and white hooped socks. Not sure we’ve ever worn them. I love our hoops and we should make more of it.

Away kit same format but green and pink.

Yellow away goalie kit.

3rd kit is nonsense so don’t bother.

Our keepers often wear pink at home games too.

We had hooped socks in 2006/07.

And 2017/18 for a spell. IIRC they were switched for plain white ones part way through the season as the players complained the hooped ones were poor for visibility.
