As part of this incredible season, probably the best two Football Heaven calls have come from Rovers fans. For different reasons, obviously.

Moly has tweeted saying what football is about, hopefully he stays as he really seems to get us as a club

So did Moore, hope this one is genuine.

As for the rest of this thread, I can't really add any more, great phone in & great posts on here, RTID.

Goodness me
I really hope Andrew and his dad have many more moments.
Possibly the most emotive and heart rending call about sport and father and son relationships I’ve ever heard.
Wow!

Grant has replied to the tweet;

Incredibly heart warming and it’s why we do it Andrew, I’m so pleased we can give you that moment. And hopefully many more. ❤️

Great call. Puts a lot into perspective. Hopefully there’s at least one more big special memory left this season for you to share with your dad, Andrew.

Now we are through to the play offs would it be possible for Andrew and his dad to take the match ball to the centre circle just prior to kickoff? Perhaps the black bank or the whole stadium could chant there is only one  …………. …………. ( sorry don’t know Andrews dads name ) ???

I hadn’t listened before but what an incredible call and one a lot of us can relate to. I hope Andrew and his dad make the semis and hopefully a special trip to Wembley.

I’m a man in his early 60’s and go to watch Rovers with my son and have done so for the past 25 years.

The third goal last weekend was one of those magic moments which only football can bring and ended with a father and son celebratory hug similar to the emotion which Andrew and his Dad enjoyed.

We’ve had lot’s of enjoyable times at Rovers like the Conference Play Off Final in 2003, the JPT Final Semi Final and Final in 2007, Wembley 2008 and Brentford 2013 and it’s moments like last week’s comeback against Barrow and particularly that third goal which will stay in the memory forever.

Thanks to Daniel for sharing those moments with me and let’s hope for many similar moments to come.

I have a feeling we haven’t heard the last from Andrew’s moving story about his dad & their combined love of the Rovers that manifested itself in a beautiful ‘I’m here son, I’m here’ moment when ‘Biggo’ scored the 3rd goal against Barrow.

We all feel it. The players & the club feel it.
