An Alternate Option to Keogh??

Free Agent, make a great foil for Sharpey, would imagine he isn't on massive wages and probably fit in with the wage structure at the club

Good player but imagine now we'll be only exploring loan options rather than perm signings

If he could not get into a cr@p Plymouth side - would he be any good for a good Rovers side?

Based on what has been mentioned about the Sharp transfer fund NOT eating into SOD's budget then i would imagine a perm signing especially no fee may be on the agenda, again the old cliche, that SOD seems to get the best out of 'players with potential but not used it yet'.

Garbage post that mate.
He could probally be a decent squad player, simon gillett could not get in the southampton side but is he not good enough.
Just because they cant get into there respective sides it does not mean he aint good enough, why he may not be getting in the team.

1. Fallen out with the boss.
2. Off the pitch antics.
3. Not fully fit.
4. Better players at the club.
5. Or maybe he may not be good enough like you say.

I still belive its unfair to criticise him when he has never kicked a ball in a rovers shirt, would a 1 year contract be worth a little try.

Never say Never.

The Yorkshire Post reports that we are still interested in Joe Garner (as an alternative to Keogh).

I wouldn't imagine that Forest will send Garner out on loan, so are we still after securing Garner permanenly, if we can't get Keogh on loan?

Seems Huddersfield are in with a shout of bagging Garner, for me he is too much like Sharp so if he doesn't sign it wouldn't bother me too much.

I carnt see Garner leaving at the moment, Sky Skorts say that Mcgoldrick is out for 3months and  Adebola is out for a month so they will be short on striking options.

I think Garner is more inclined to drop off the front man (like Keogh in that respect) so it could work and if we are after him then it can only be because we think it will work. That said, it's only an option, and I think Keogh is the one that everyone would like to see us sign.
