Today’s team
Interesting that Balcombe isn’t even on the bench, dropped completely or have I missed an injury to him
COYR
-
It allows five other loanees to play (Smith, Sims, Richards, Robertson and JJ)
-
Hmmm I thought the same maybe a spat/teddy out of the cot
-
Concerning about Halliday
Great to see Jones back though

What is annoying is we have a right back that can’t play for us because of some strange ruling

Ridiculous ruling.
-
Rules are rules so not a lot we can do about that. We do have a kid on the bench who played pretty well in his only outing at right back but for some reason Butler prefers Wright.
-
Personally I'd rather have AJ at right back rather than Joe

It does seem silly doesn’t it.
We apparently had a recall clause within the loan agreement as well.
-
Tannoy guy playing Luther Vandross.
Early shout for MOTM there.

Never too much? Luther’s obviously not been watching us play this last two months.
-
No hope of play offs and half of the first XI are loanees.
-
Robertson gives the ball away with sublime casualness!
-
Then Robertson picks up a loose ball and makes a good run and pass.
-
McKay on Fleetwood’s left must be related to the McKay who led the disastrous experimental recruitment phase at our club?
Rovers have started well today.
-
Our movement is shocking.
-
We have two players with great movement- sims and smith, the rest are like statues
-
Defo feels like there is nothing to play for , for both team
-
Then Robertson picks up a loose ball and makes a good run and pass.
The difference being we know that nothing will come of his good run, but his giveaway puts a knot of fear in ya belly....
-

Rovers have started well today.
Doubt it, he’s too talented. Both of Willie’s lads are playing in the Scottish lower divisions.
-
We've still got players running around with no desire to actually get on the ball.
-
20 minutes in and this is a snoozefest
-
Good commanding keeping by Jones there.
-
The ball goes to Jones, passes it to one of the defenders, the defender passes it to Smith/Robertson, goes back to defender. Rinse and repeat. After a few sets of that hoof up and give to Fleetwood's defence.
-
If Richards is hoping to make the grade in the top flight with Brighton he's got a lot of hard work in front of him
-

Hasn’t that been the standard pattern for most of the season.
-
He’s a free agent in the summer
-
Boring, boring,boring,boring,boring !
Only kidding I’m as enthralled as everyone else watching this.........whateveritis!
-
Why didn’t the ref give a free kick when Richards was pulled down by his neck, right in front of him.
-
He may as well be a secret agent cos he's invisible a lot of the time
-
Can someone please show the ifollow cameraman how the zoom works.
-

I feel like Whiteman was able to turn on the ball and break the lines.
-
This is pedestrian and boring
-

You've used two words there that are completely alien to the lad, I'm afraid.

Yes he could do that, but I did say most of the season because we also did the same pattern quite a lot when Ben was here.
Very poor game this.

You mean Taylor I can't be arsed Richards?

Before Ben Whiteman left we had 33 points from 18 games, had scored 32 and had conceded 20.
Since he left we’ve played 24 games and got far fewer points (27), scored far fewer goals (25), and conceded way more (37).
Even if some of our play was patient, there is absolutely no comparison between the team with him in it and the team now.
-
This is pedestrian and boring
was thinking the same
-
Will the real Josh Sims please stand up!
Cos that facsimile is pretty bloody useless! ....
-
We'd be having sub 5k crowds with this absolute boring crap football yet again!
-
We are desperate for a new manager and some new ideas , the season can’t end soon enough
-
43 minutes and not an attempt on goal, allI see is a team thats no where near working hard enough
-
We look like a team heading for relegation. It's a good job we got those points earlier in the season.
-
That was a waste of 45 minutes!
-

Just going through the motions, they seem unmotivated and don’t care about professional pride

I agree that we were better with Ben in the team but that mind numbing passing the ball about between our keepers and defenders was still evident in our play.
-
If Richards is hoping to make the grade in the top flight with Brighton he's got a lot of hard work in front of him
Noticed a couple of time when he runs back to show for the pass he's careful to keep a fleetwood player between him and the ball, thus making himself unavailable. He must think we're blind.
-
Just got no pattern and fluency to our play.
Are these actually the same players that played in the 1st 24 games of the season.
You could not have possibly predicted we could become so poor.
Are we saving ourselves do you think for our double header with Peterborough.
-
Why does every team we play look better and more eager to get the ball than us? This is boring and poor.massive clear out for next season.
-
That was a booed off at ht performance, they should be thankful they have been shielded from the wrath of the fans
-
Those on here releasing the tension by commenting whether it be positive or negative should spare a thought for those watching the game ......and not bothering to comment on here........
Heads are gonna explode!

Simple answer, our players don’t give a f**k

Those games with Peterbro might yet be very embarrassing.

Not a realistic comparison, that Nick. Our problems of the last couple of months are in no way the result of Ben Whiteman not being in the team. We had a decent run of good results after Ben left. Our current problems are something different entirely.
-
Saving grace is that we havnt had to actually go there in person!!
-

I’m sure our Directors and Owners are very aware of what’s happening on the pitch and will learn by it.........
Have faith!

we did, but no one can actually say we were playing well. Narrow one goal wins over teams with zero performance on our part..
-
Looks like what it is at half time. An end of season game involving two clubs with little to play for.
-
The players need to buck there ideas up as this has burton second half written all over it
-
Bostock on for Robertson
-

That is what I am worried about. Posh will go up on Tues after beating us if they & Sunderland win today.
If we do not turn up it could be any score. Pick a number. Second thoughts probably better if we actually do not turn up.
Tel the EFL our players cannot cope with 2 games a week. :crying:
-
Bostock on for Robertson
Bostocks now injured.
-

sadly the league table suggests that we are still a whisper away from the top 6? A bit of effort for a change and things could look completely different..
-
Nice loud scream by Bostock there.
-
Those on here releasing the tension by commenting whether it be positive or negative should spare a thought for those watching the game ......and not bothering to comment on here........
Heads are gonna explode!
Unfortunately I am watching it but its more interesting either being on here or watching the grass grow.
-
Wright running in treacle there.
1-0 down again.
-
Defeat incoming
-
Wright is far too slow to be a full back.
-
Runs past Bostock unchallenged.
Runs past Smith unchallenged.
Runs past Wright unchallenged.
Runs past Anderson unchallenged.
Goal.
-
Not great by Jones either, near post trickled past him
-
Yep, five players at least who should have done more there.
But it's not surprising at this point. This is the weakest team I've ever seen representing Rovers.
-
Wright running in treacle there.
1-0 down again.
Like he had deep sea diving boots on
-
Joe wright caught out down our right again!
-
Runs past Bostock unchallenged.
Runs past Smith unchallenged.
Runs past Wright unchallenged.
Runs past Anderson unchallenged.
Goal.
I can see a bit of a common link there
-
Be honest.....who secretly was willing Fleetwood to score?
Lololololololololololololololololololololo
-
Joe wright caught out down our right again!
But he thinks hes championship material.
-
Be honest.....who secretly was willing Fleetwood to score?
Lololololololololololololololololololololo
Not me, I have us for a draw on PvO today.
-
We might have a chance of signing Sims with how he's performed since January.
-
MOTM has to be the ifollow commentator. How anyone can remain positive watching this pathetic display deserves praise.
-
Interviewer: Right Simon do you have a plan to beat Doncaster?
Simon Grayson: yeah!.........turn up!
-
So sick of watching some of these players phoning it in. Half of them wouldn't get a start in a League 2 team.
-

Yes couldn’t believe he said Jones was charged down, he was nowhere near Jones
-
This is the last time I'll see Copps playing for Rovers at the Keepmoat, as I'm at work on the final day.
Quite a saddening feeling, I have to say.
-
Interviewer : Right Butts what did you say to the lads at half time?
Andy Butler: right guys......who’s booked a holiday ?
-
No way will we score today.
-
Interviewer: Right Simon do you have a plan to beat Doncaster?
Simon Grayson: yeah!.........turn up!
I thought you’d decided you’d had enough this season?
Why don’t you go and do something else?
-
Any chance that AB had of being given the manager’s job has surely gone now, eh?
-

Be careful you’ll be lambasted for that comment
-

Lololololololololololololololololololololo

I'm worse I went WIN
-
I've seen a few of those sci fi films where aliens take over the bodies of humans. So whilst they may look like people you know they behave nothing like them. Just a thought
-

Simon Grayson: yeah!.........turn up!
I thought you’d decided you’d had enough this season?
Why don’t you go and do something else?
Narrrr, that’s after this season....still got another home game ( Peterborough)
And there are a host of “ something else’s” that will be indulged in...
But thanks for your concern duck!
-
No way will we score today.
True especially with 35 second Goal kicks and Free kicks and 20 second throw ins.... AND carrying no goal threat at all
-
Any chance that AB had of being given the manager’s job has surely gone now, eh?
I wonder if he made the shortlist
-
Should have been two nil there.
-
Not a chance
-
Honestly, how is it possible to be as bad as this? We've shown absolutely nothing.
-
Should have been two nil there.
Perhaps 3?
-
Any chance that AB had of being given the manager’s job has surely gone now...eh?
Be careful you’ll be lambasted for that comment
Being a bit pedantic, Filo, I was asking a question not making a statement...I think!
-
You know, I've played in more organised Sunday league teams. What an utter crock of shite! And as for Bostock, give me f**king strength!
-
Good save from Jones there.
Interested to see how he'd do with a defence in front of him.
-
I think we are holding out for a 1-0 loss
-
Ud think the amount of fannying around passing along the back line that we were actually winning?
-
It will be nice to have games against Rotherham and Wednesday next season, although I am not sure what the results will be......
-
Peterborough promotion party on Tuesday night.
-
It will be nice to have games against Rotherham and Wednesday next season, although I am not sure what the results will be......
I think Wednesdays can get relegated today. Can't remember what the permutations are though.
-
Just imagine they are walking off:
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Bloody rubbish!!!!!!
-
It will be nice to have games against Rotherham and Wednesday next season, although I am not sure what the results will be......
It will be a different manager next season, and hopefully different players as well.
-
Peterborough promotion party on Tuesday night.
The worry is, how many will they get??
-
You have to wonder when they will bottom out, but they keep playing worse than you expect.
-
It will be nice to have games against Rotherham and Wednesday next season, although I am not sure what the results will be......
Not looking forward to Cheltenham!
-
It's not as if Fleetwood are any good, just vaguely competent.
-
It will be nice to have games against Rotherham and Wednesday next season, although I am not sure what the results will be......
I wouldn’t write off Rotherham yet. Derby look in real bother.
-
Disgraceful performance.
-
Pathetic, again!
-
I've never, ever booed a Rovers team from the field, today would have been a first. It's the manner of the defeat...
-
I'd boo if I were there. What a load of gutless shite.
-
No effort, no urgency and yet another spineless showing
-
Disgraceful performance.
It was hound.
I cannot believe what I watched today.
We should and would have lost 5 -0 to them if they had taken their chances.
-
Crewe gone above us now.
Hull promoted and Accy just equalised again at Sunderland so Peterbro promotion party set up for Tuesday night.
-
Yorkshire have got Sussex on 86 for 5 they need another 149
So at least I have something to be cheerful about. :)
-
We are totally unrecognizable from the team that had a chance to go top of the league at christmas
-
We are totally unrecognizable from the team that had a chance to go top of the league at christmas
I have literally just tried to explain that to the wife.
-
It would be easier for you to try and explain the offside rule and VAR
-
It’s a pity that there are no fans in the ground as the players, manager, staff and owners would have no, absolutely no, doubts about how pissed off the fans really are after so many poor performances. From potential automatic promotion/playoff contenders to mid table mediocrity.
On to Tuesday and it’s a case do I pay for the game or not?
COYR
-
We are totally unrecognizable from the team that had a chance to go top of the league at christmas
Yup, I'm sure there's lots of factors involved but it's baffling to have seen what we could do back then compared to the Sunday league stuff we've seen lately.
-

Not if you've got any sense.

It’s just a blip .....it’ll get turned round in the next 2 or 3 weeks I’m sure.....
Maybe our benefactors should go beyond merely keeping the club afloat with their much needed financial input, and take a little gamble, you never know it might pay off...
The 2 shitty teams Hull & Peterborough are so corrupt and bent they have no chance of getting promoted to the Championship....
At least we have a well run NICE club !
-

Is this supposed to be funny, clever or insightful? It’s not. You’re boring. A massive supercilious bore. And I know I shouldn’t respond because that’s exactly what you’re trolling for, but I just had to comment. I’m excited about next season - new manager, new players and the end of you. Everyone else must have your comments set to ignore, otherwise all your posts would get this reaction.
I’m convinced you’re one of a few regular posters who don’t support our club.

Maybe the points raised are too close to the bone and irk your “misguided” viewpoint?
Seems has you haven’t addressed any of them....
I’ve probably supported the club as long if not longer than you...since 1972..... however I am now old enough to say what I see, I try to balance the argument were possible for the performances I watch....
I also take note of what the general sway of opinion is......then wonder why!
Now this is meant to be funny
