Does anyone on here work for them ?

Just a question, applied for an apprenticeship for customer service with them

Live in dunscroft, does anyone know if the job will be based in town or other areas ?

And its 98 a week, with me being 21 would i get above the apprenticeship minimum wage

Cheers

I doubt you'd even get the minimum wage tbh RTD. It's a socialist council don't forget. They only accept Commies and marxists you know.

I know several people that work for the Council. All I would say is that if you manage to get a job with them, it will be extremely cushy. The only people that would disagree with me would be those who have only ever worked in the Public Sector.

You will probably find that it is funded through some government traininig scheme and is aimed at 16/17 year olds hence the wage of £98 pw.

I think that your age will work against you here, apply for it, have a good go and if you fail at least you will have gained some interview experience for your next shot at employment and good luck to you mate!

National Minimum Wage doesn't apply for your first year of training as an Apprentice. However at your age, you will be entitled to it in year 2, even if you're still an Apprentice.

Try being a Betterware agent for a week and then see if you disagree with me.
