Our average pay last year was £3000 a week not peanuts but we were in the bottom three payers with Scunthorpe and Peteborough.Err, there was one other club with a smaller wage budget that DRFC last season.I'll give you a clue. They're in a play-off final and they play by the seaside.Nothing is impossible whatsoever.

Yep. Facts checked. Blackpool's is still smaller! It just makes their achievement all the more amazing.
Blackpool's wage bill hasn't officially been declared from anyone at their club. However, it is believed to be upwards of £5,000,000 towards £6,000,000 if anyone has actually bothered to read some of Blackpool's forum. The reason they have splashed out in transfer fees previously is because of a Latvian investor making £1.6M available for transfers last summer. Again, do a bit of searching on the internet and you'll find proof of that with various quotes from quite a few people to back it up.Moving back to the point, there are still several teams in the Championship with a wage bill at least twice, or in some cases three times, as big as teams like ourselves, Blackpool, Peterborough, etc.
