So then, are we all Keeping the Faith??
« on March 27, 2012, 11:23:28 pm by Mr1Croft »
What does everyone honestly think will be the outcome of this season? Is a miraculous turn around just days away or is this as good as it gets?

I honestly and personally (and I am in no way speaking on behalf of the VSC) think that means us are possibly playing in League One next season, but I hope we make a real go at what games are left and go down fighting and leaving the supporters proud!

Anyone else care to comment their feelings?

Until the (R) is next to our name on the league table I refuse to believe we cant get out of it.

4 points from safety.

3 points on Friday puts the frighteners on Cov, Pompey, and Brizzle.

Agreed fully with the above post.

Good atmosphere required on Friday, such a big game, as they all are at the minute!

Everyone should be joining in that whether they sing or not. I very much agree with RTR's comments earlier.

Saw it in the tea leaves this morning, 'Chris Brown saves Donny from relegation'!

His dad was a Belle View hero, now his son has joined us on the battlements at the Keepmoat.

Keep on believing people!

I admire your blind faith. The bare facts are we probably need to win five of our last seven games to stay up.
Our chances of doing that are slim to none.
Just had a look at our our relegation odds on Betfair.
We're 6/1 ON to go down.
Like the rest of you I'm praying we survive, but realistically we've had it.

i think we need 43 points to stay up, and i cant see us getting 11 points from a possible 21. 23rd place finish in my eyes on 40 points

Unfortunatly its a no from from me, we had to win last night for us to stand any chance of staying up.

After the performances against Derby and Millwall i don't see anything to suggest were going to win at least 4 more games.

the players seem to bottle it in the big games (derby, millwall) it is ok playing decent against crystal palace but a draw aint good enough if you cant beat the teams around us. we will probably get beat by cov the way we are playing the big games so i say we are down. everyone at the club needs to look at what they want for next season and how it wioll be done new manager? new players? or what?

We dont need 5 wins, i think 42 will keep us up, 3 wins and a draw, not beyond the realms that.  But we have to win Friday, cause Leicester away will be tough, and then 2 massive home games the week after.

Because of our goal difference we will need 12 pts from 7 games to give us 44 pts. This will be hard because it has not been achieved under both managers for over 12 months.

If we get the necessary points, our goal difference will be better than bristols. We need to improve our home form, 3 wins out of the 4 would give us a great chance.

I have put this up before but for those who are flagging here it is again. Until the maths say different I am shouting my guts out every game and god help any one near me who boo's or sings Saunders out.

Sorry to say it, but for me it's curtains. The Derby, Millwall and Last nights game should have been where our points came from, 1 point from 9 signals to me exactly where we are headed and the fact we've been pretty much gelled to the root of the table all season suggests things aint gonna change.

Hope I'm wrong and I'll be singing my heart out for the remainder of the home games, in hope that we can suddenly kick start our form, but we aint won more than 2 on the bounce all season and with some of the games coming up, I can't see it happening anytime soon.

Still a Rovers fan and always will be, but I'm afraid my heads ruling my heart now :(

That is kind of what I have been thinking.. It will be close but I can't see us gaining more points than all of the other 3 clubs, especially as we are already behind.
I think at least one of them will do better than us.
But maybe their fans are thinking the same...
