Sizing of new gear
« on June 21, 2019, 07:50:58 am by KiwiRover »
I'm gonna buy a home shirt and one of those nice looking hoodies.

Dunno whether to buy mediums or a larges. And since I'm so far away, returns will be a massive pain in the behind.....

Anyone got any comments on how the sizing is? Go big, or go small?

I had a new shirt bought for me for father's day.  Mine is an xxl which I thought was slightly smaller than the last one I had but when i put it up against my old one it was the same width and just ever so slightly shorter in the body.  My old one is 2 or 3 years old.   It's the last one call shirt and was made by fbt.
Hope that helps !!

I would say they are at least 1 size smaller than the label states

I find that all shirts, tops etc shrink in the wardrobe, so always go for safety and go for a size bigger than I need!

How big are you mate? I'm just in the process of returning one of the black\white hoodies to drop from a large to a medium. I'm 5ft 11 and about 11.5st. The large would have been fine for winter games with 3 or 4 layers underneath but the medium is a much better fit for general day-to-day use (I tried a medium on in the club shop).

I'm hoping similar size to the last lot - I can still fit in the junior sizes!

They definitely do. I think it's because the fibres tighten up in the dark, making the sixpack area go all wok-shaped.

Great info. Cheers. We sound pretty much the same size.
Reckon I'll plump for mediums and cross my fingers then.

I know it’s to do with the sizing but what is the print like on the new shirt, is it stuck on like last year or part of the kit like years prior.

If you're bigger than what you'd class as 3xl, don't bother. Awful sizing, I'm a big lad and tried 6XL in shop. More like a large.

When will we see the new away shirt, in our first away game?

You can even buy a Rovers tape measure and Rovers Apron but no away kit
