Sacked as Bradford manager, no doubt he’ll be back again in a couple of years time

He was heavily linked with us, I think we dodged a bullet there.

I can't get my head around Bradford City , bloody big club and if not in the championship they should be competing for it in league one .

They'd 4k fans at Oakwell in our league one promotion season , bottom of the league and the worst Bradford side I'd seen since the 70's , you have to respect that .

Clearly the issue isn't the managers but the way the club is run .

Agree with this. How do you not make a success of that club at League Two and probably League One level. It is a one club city (sorry BPA) and right in the middle of the West Yorkshire/Greater Manchester footballing community. Really strange.

Well that just sums of the incompetence at boardroom level.

Not unexpected. Surprised it did not happen a couple of weeks ago.
That contract extension is looking a bit stupid now!!!

The problem is the German owner. He bought the club and put his mate in charge. They then sold their better players after losing out in the play off final instead of strengthening. There were lots of problems even after the owner got rid of his mate that went back to Germany.
It will take a bit of sorting whoever takes over as they have a few players on longish contracts not performing. They appointed a director of football last recently that made fans wonder if the board trusted Stuart’s judgement.

That is one German that will not come back after some of the things that happened there, believe me.

That's why we interview candidates and not just appoint because of reputation or otherwise. At interview stage you can work out whether they'll be good for us or not.

Under old management at the time and he lived next door to the bloke appointing the next manager. reckon that may have helped.

From Twitter!

I wonder if Darren Moore would be interested in Jumping ship for the  #bcafc  Job ? lots of history and potentially more opportunity than managing Donny and their 4,000 fans every week ?

Lol, City fans have replied by saying "why would he jump ship when Donny are pushing for the play offs in League 1 and we could be a non league team"

I doubt anyone would grant any credibility to some clown on Twitter who thinks Rovers attendances only average 4000.

Or anyone who thinks he'd jump ship from a broadly recognised well-run club for a bit of a basket case.

It'd be like giving up your ferry business to captain the Titanic.

People forget that on the Titanic's maiden voyage there were over a thousand miles of uneventful, very pleasurable cruising before it hit the iceberg.
