I'm loving having the points over the Blades, just need them to mess up their games in hand now.  Having gotten the 3 points just now it will be nice to see who messes up today, surely not all the chasing clubs will win      :boxing:

Swindon pretty much out of it now.
Bournemouth have it easier, though don't fancy their last game.
Brentford have it tough.
Sheffs games are so so, but they'll struggle with the amount.

Its certainly ours to lose now.

Updated the OP.

Looking sweet to me. Carlisle now virtually safe which is probably good for us. Two more wins...  :boxing:

Christ, look at the run in that Crewe have got. They must have killed a Robin to deserve that lot. My second favourite team at the moment. ;) Come on the Alex!!, do the lads a favour!!

BRR: Blades have got a run of 4 games where they have to play Swindon, Brentford, Portsmouth and Crewe. That's hardly so so surely? Portsmouth are just about top of the current form table and they reckon they've a chance of escaping the drop so that will be a rough night at Fratton park. Crewe are just Crewe. either side could win that. While the other two, Brentford at the Lane ought to be easier since the Bees don't travel - but they've got to do something sometime surely? And they need the points.... Likewise Swindon. Can't see Blades winning all those 4. Can you?

Cheers

Portsmouth are already relegated, they have to come out of administration before the end of the season and will then incur a 10 point deduction, taking them down to 29 points, 12 points behind 5th from bottom Oldham. Portsmouth can only get 9 more points!

Ok. Fairy nuff Filo. I forgot that. What happens if they don't come out of admin though?

Bob, according to FL rules no club is allowed to begin the season in administration for two consecutive seasons - so if the FL stick to this they will be thrown out of the League.

Cool.

Thanks Wilts. Hard for Pompey - but it would bring home the inadequacies of the FL wouldn't it?

So could they stay in administration and come out of it in the close season and start next season on -10 points

Here's the scenario then chaps.

We win tonight.

Both Sheff Utd and Brentford draw or lose either tonight or Saturday.

Bournemouth draw or lose on Saturday.

A win at Crewe on Saturday confirms our promotion.

Button yer pockets down...

No, they must exit Administration before this season ends...

Without jinxing it, I honestly think that if we beat Carlisle tomorrow, then we have at least guaranteed auotomatic promotion  :)

I've got a feeling we'll get promoted on Tuesday 16th when we don't have a game but other results could go our way. I'm almost hoping one of the 3 rivals wins a game over the next week or two so we'd get promoted vs County.

That said, 6 points from the next 2 would surely do it given how shaky Brentford and the Blunts are at the moment so it'd be a "nearly there" party at Crewe should we win.

Aye well, I'm hardcore. I never sleep the night before a match so tomorrow is still today.
