We only got 1000 tickets initially for Crewe. They can allocate up to 1600. Hopefully we will get some more.

I had a quick look this morning and the total was just under 400 for Crewe. I'm considering going but I'm on nights this weekend so I finish at 7am Saturday morning and got to be back at work for 7pm Saturday night. I've been to Middlesbrough and Bristol while on nights in the past but it's not really the most sensible option!

No callback but tried again online and everything went through OK, they obviously tweaked the system a bit

The thing is I doubt they will open that area at the drop of a hat if 1500 rock up without tickets.  What about stewarding, etc?  They wont be able to sort it in time.

For those thinking of going, I'd advise getting tickets from the club.  That way if we sell out the club can officially request more, Crewe can get organised, and the club gets a bit of money from the away ticket sale.  Every penny helps.

Tried calling several times today to get tickets, left a message but no callback yet. Will keep trying but have zero chance of getting to the ticket office before the game, and it won't let me log in online. Grrrrrrrrrr!

If hundreds turn up for pay on the day then they will have no choice but to open up this end. I hear your point rob but some simply cannot get to km to get tickets. I don't think it will come to that anyway. To have 1700 plus at crewe will be miraculous given the recent home attendances. And no this is not a moan at crowds etc. just pointing out facts. The game has never been advertised as all ticket. If they stick an all ticket designation on this game it will be too late for some to get tickets and a bit out of order.

I'm not advocating this game being all ticket, but if results go our way midweek then we could potentially win promotion on Saturday, which is why I believe we could sell out our section.

There are tickets there for a reason mate.  If they all sell prior to saturday, no one at Crewe will be forced to give us more if they dont want to.  And if, say, 1000 rovers fans rock up to pay on the day then I can see some being refused entry.  They will certainly look at ticket sales as a barometer for how many stewards they will need.  Remember, they are responsible for the spectator's safety.

Cannot argue with your sentiments rob, there won't be 1000 rovers turn up without tickets. Past exp shows that there is usually about 5-20% of ticket off sales roll up to away games. These are made up of those who cannot get to km due to work. Cannot get through on phone to reserve or simply do not live anywhere near Donny, like myself. If we sell 1000 tickets I expect there to be 50-200 max turn up to pay on day. A lot will hinge on tomorrows result. If Rovers win then the crewe game will be seen as the potential promotion game. Draw or lose and obviously not. My dad and brother are season ticket holders but are away in Scotland coming back late on Friday night in order to go to crewe. They won't have time to get tickets sorted. There are many reasons people don't buy tickets in advance. Some wake up sat morning and think, I know I'll go to the game today.

I think the TO has stayed open for half an hour after some games.  Not sure if it has been all games though.
