Very happy with the result but not enamoured by the sub..........he (Diouf) scared them to death!
After the substitution we went back into our shell and again sat too deep.

Oster passing the ball directly into touch shows he hasn't lost his form. :(

But the right move, Oster found a fair bit of space and did ok in there.  What was wrong was the booing of him when he came on, that's not right.

I don't think you can lay claim to him carrying us through, our whole midfield was excellent that season, and it is also worth noting that that season Mark Wilson featured the most in his Rovers career and we finished in our highest ever position in English Football since the post war period (32nd).

As much as I like Oster, Wilson is due some credit ;)

Let us never forget the contributions of Mark Wilson. Terrific servant of the club. I'll continue to wear my Wilson #15 shirt until it disintegrates, which knowing Nik will probably be sometime midway through next season.

A good player and ambassador for our club . He never to my knowledge showed anything less than 100% commkitment for this club yet he still deserves such sarcasm..........some need to take a look at theirselves.
