me first team would have been st peters primary down sandy lane.the kit was yellow and blue but i be buggered if i recall what me position was only that i was not the goalkeeper.
then i played for school team at st peters high cantley, kit was just like aston villas from 1970's,position was middle of defence.
also played for the irish society, centre defence again and funny enough kit was green and white, played at bottom of town fields on sundays.
then i played for paddock pub as a forward in the sunday league
homes games cantley park, kit was orange and black very much like the holland kit of 1974.won a cup with paddock but for life of me cant recall who other team was.
played out in oslo for a english pub team as a centre defender,
kit was all white.we won div3 then won div2 so in 3rd season we was in div1.
had the same refs in all 3seasons,and first game in div1 we had all been eating raw meat all week.
ref calls all our team across just before kick off gets us all
to listen to him as he said very seriously 'i now know what a
Kitson is'
all pub team fell about laughing and kick off was delayed for a few mins.

Chuff me Oslo i played for the first 3 team's you have mentioned but a few year's previous to you.

Would you believe it, I played for St Peter's at Cantley also!
From about 66/70, I played left back in those famous Aston Villa colours.
Before that I played left back for St Francis xaviour at Roberts road, Balby.
Actually they were the same schools that Kevin Keegan went to, although the age difference meant that he had just left them as I was starting them.
Finest left foot in the country for my age, until the old knee went!
-
Another 'left footer' here in more ways than one. I played at McAuley from 74-79. Intake Invaders in Boys Sunday league
-
I played for Loversall United, centre forward and also right half (as they were termed in those days) :)
-
i played for sunnyfirlds junior school since bowt 8 year old aswell as scawthorpe scorpions on the sunday then got picked by king billy himself for a trial with donny schoolboys then had to go to bloody south africa with my mum and dad after billy said i had a future in the game and that was when i was 13 oh well we can only dream of what might have been all this was between 1978 and 1982

Apart from school teams. I played for askern welfare (the same side now that the rovers played against a week ago 'astern villa'.
-
im a goalkeeper and i currently play for the canal tavern in thorne on sundays we won league and cup this season just passed ...prior to that ive played for thorne colliery, moorends fc, thorne town fc, and also for thorne grammar school as a youth........ive also been looked at by hull city and drfc....
-
Warmsworth Hall Stars
Alverley
Barker & Wigfall and reincarnations known as, The Castle FC, & Black Bull FC
All Sunday Alliance 80s and 90s.
-
Another 'leftie' here. I played Sunday League for different incarnations of the same team know as 'Coach and Horses' / 'Sidings' / 'Tut n Shive' from around 1995 until 2005ish.
I also made an appearance in the final quater of the 'Final game at OBV - Testimonial'. I almost scored with my first touch, turning the Rovers CH inside out before being phased by the onrushing Samways and blasting the ball into the side netting. If only, if only...
Another recollection from the game was being in the LB position being faced by ROK with ball. He was about to pass inside as I told him 'Go on, take me on... give the crowd a show'. He did, skinned me and Rovers 'Legends' almost scored.
Same game... the mystery of Duggies half time drink. Did anyone else see it?
-
I had a trial at Leicester once..... Was found not guilty.
-
forgot to mention that i also played for branton sports and social club,as a forward red kit and home games were on a pitch
in branton.
as for trails as mentioned above had them at doncaster numerous
bury,york,stoke,bournemouth,rotherham.
-
I played for Cantley Colts under 13s and 14s - Quite possibly the worst football team there ever was.
Then had a year at Intake Imps - Quite possibly the second worse team there ever was.
Spent a few years playing for Case International in the Doncaster Friendly League and then Sunday Alliance.

Tech Villa. Crap. But once had a purple moment on Town Fields and the watching Hull City scount 'had a word' afterwards. Never ever forgotten that. Highest point I ever got to!

I apologize if I did mate. It certainly would have been unintentional. After all, it was pre-Revie days!
Well at least Pre-Cheating-Revie days!
Or at least before everyone realised it was cheating Revie days!
-
Good to see im not on my own hating Leeds then
-
I played for Branton Juniors at right back in the early to mid 90's. No goals in countless appearances, but I did once have a shot on target!
