well i doubt many of us will expect 'exactly'
to be in the hat for next round draw.
so no point asking the question who will win, think the more
interesting questions is who will start for rovers?
for the record i think sharp should start for sole reason
to help him get his scoring boots on and up and running.
rovers to win by 2clear goals. 2-0 or 3-1
-
Not sure even if Sharp can be risked. A few having fitness tests today. I hope at least we can put out a balanced team and I'm looking forward to seeing Payne play in his first competitive match.
Perhaps a chance for Brooker to get some more game time and would be great if he can get off the mark for this season.
-
I would hope that brooker and Fairhurst start upfront.....and SOD rests as many as he can get away with in midfield/defence.
Woods in Goal. Hird and Dumbaya in Defence, with at least shiels and Payne in midfield.
Personally, I'd give it all up for another 3pts on Saturday!
-
SOD will probably start with Saturday's back four with Sullivan or Woods in goal. Midfield he can use Dumbaya Hird Payne and Shiels with Brooker and Fairhurst up front. Clarke and the youth team members could make up the bench

-

-
Stanley have had a goal disallowed for offside and Brooker has had a couple of efforts just wide.
Dumbuya playing well and causing trouble down the right hand side
-
Brooker has missed 2 chances but at least he's getting in the right positions. Ive heard he's the best finisher at the club in training
-
Some of the best chances are falling to Stanley at the moment
-
0-0 half time
-
most important question on broker is 'how mobile is he looking
please'
-
Stanley currently trading at 8.2 on Betfair and looking at our subs bench it might be worth 10p
-

Get in 1 - 0 Payne

Injuries happen... thats the nature of the game - physical
It's beeen proved time and time again that you need a strong SQUAD to succeed in this league.
Just imagine if we happen to be without Billy through injury, which is always a possibility the way he plays.
It's a catch 22 situation.. SOD needs plenty of players to call upon... but can the Club afford it ?

Of course injuries happen. But we have had several years of horrific injury problems. Is it something to do with the players general fitness levels?
-
1-2 it gets worse

Nope, it's that f**kin synthetic shite on the pitch.

'We should be beating the likes of Accrington if we're going to do anything in this league'
;)

the crowd tonite is a good one 4600 what did stanley
bring 100
-
The young lad Lucas is on 16 and Grayson is 17. It could be a good learning experience for the lads.
-
fcuking millwall just put one in onion bag to go 1-2 up
-
Dumbuya injured now too! They're dropping like flies.
-
Rovers player stretchered off , down to 10 men.
Surely not the pitch's fault. Why havent Accy had players injured
-
Re: Injury situation.
Not good, but we're not the only ones... Bristol City, Ipswich for example currently have the very same problem
Feel sympathy for SOD .. he'll be tearing his rapidly thinning hair out !
-
I-was-there1976 wrote:

My thought exactly
-
sounds like rob clark should have just been sent off and ref
gave yellow card
-
Clarke lucky to be still on the pitch after pulling back the accy player
-
Who the fcuk is our commentator?
-
Oh well as the saying goes we were concentrating on the league anyway!
-
whats difference between doncaster rovers and a tea bag
tea bag stays in cup much longer
-
Game over. I'm far more concerned with the injury situation than the scoreline.
Very personal opinion - I don't like us to lose any game but I'm not too dissapointed with exiting this competition, the leauge is the main prize
-
MrFrost wrote:

Chris 'Outstanding Play' Mortley
I think he does a reasonable job to be honest
-
Very disapointing but its cup football and anything can happen. The more worrying thing is our injury situation.
Copps on crutches, Hayter with what sounds like a bad hamstring injury and several others carrying knocks.

Stanley brought 150 approx. who managed to sing constantly throughout the game and sounded like 1500 in our morgue. They must have thought we were the quietest fans that they've ever come across............it was piss poor.
