Give RS Decorating services a try, I think its based in Branton, but if you got the job you would obviously be working with a 'bloke' who would have a van or car and would organise a pick up point suitable. Other than that its hard to say as I know Bagnalls have just took about four on and wont be interested now for another year or so, and alot of other companies may just look for qualified sub-contractors.
 Good luck though mate.  :)

Sorry, I don't know any companies hiring but the old fashioned approach of picking up the Yellow Pages or Thomson Local would be a good bet. Good luck finding something.

Might be worth trying the local trade paint shops, Leyland/Johnstones Centre, Dulux Decorating Centre, or Newland Paints (if you have on in Donny,we have in Harrogate). Asking around in these places, you might be able to leave a contact number with a member of staff.

There is a website for looking for apprenticeships.www.apprenticeships.org.uk or you might consider visiting your local Connexions office who would be able to give you lots of advice for free at your age.

My advice is dont bothr ringing, it's easier for people to let you down over the phone. Go see them face to face, it makes a big difference. It shows that your keen and people like to see what they might be getting.
