Title: Rear Wiper arm

Some barsteward has stolen the rear wiper arm off of me Golf. Hayseldens say they have had three more this week go, the thief needs a special tool to remove the bloody things.

staff at VW dont think its owt to do with EBAY anybody got any clues as to whats occuring? :angry:

Waterdale multi storey Car Park,Police said another also got done on there yesterday

It's a special tool to get the fascia off. But a couple of screwdrivers will do.

My Audi a4 back wiper broke, i spent best part of 4 hours getting the fascia off, mostly because i didn't know what i was doing. Anyway i removed the wiper and didn't replace it and have never needed too. passes mot without it as well.

Are the Police investigating this for you then? They're turning a blind eye to the woman who smashed me off the road and drove off by saying it's my word against hers.

This is where foresight comes into play. I got a Honda Civic which doesn't have a rear wipe which therefore can't be stolen  :laugh:

Doesn't need one - the rear visibility is that bad it makes no difference if the window is filthy or not  :angry:

The amount of Police activity has astounded me i have got my own case officer who has rang and offered condolensces,I spoke to a parking warden today and she said the Police had asked them to assist and be vigilant :blink:

I've been told to expect a two month wait before they even interview the cow who drove off and left me at the side of the road!
