Went from Stainy to Edenthorpe at about 11pm last night, it was slightly spitting with rain when I left Stainy, by the time I had got to Barnby Dunn it was a monsoon and the when I got to Church Balk at the Holly Bush there was water gushing out of the drains 3ft high ad the road was totally flooded right down past Olivers cafe, gos knows what the bridge at clay lane must have been like. Anyway, when i went back to Stainy 15 mins later the monsoon stopped just after barnby dunn and when i got halfway down Stainy road it was almost dry! Crazy weather!

I can see the junction of Church Balk and Barn by the Don road from my back bedroom, didn't realise it was raining so hard. I'll give you a wave next time Filo.

It's the closest thing to running water you'll get in Stainy!
