RIP Norman Wisdon RIP Norman Pitkin.
Not many can do it, but the guy was funny without even talking. Jim Carrey is something akin in the modern era. Lee Evans is a grade A t**t
In the face of adversity and ridicule, he (Wisdom/Pitkin) always got the girl in the end of most of his films. Not many actors can say that.
........and not many people know, but he also invented a type of tooth.

A natural comic and a gentleman.
He made people laugh with simple, honest humor, without ever using foul language or cruelty. It's harder to do it that way. I loved his films as a kid, though I have to say as I grew up the trips and pratfalls became a little irritating but the films are still charming.
Lee Evans is a t**t.

In the 60's when Wisdom took top billing and steam-rollered across Vegas, Broadway and USA and ousted the infamous Rat Pack, the headline soon appeared in the NY Times 'Stormin Norman'.........that was him, that was.
