Title: Tomorrow
Post by: Al4475 on October 15, 2010, 06:59:13 pm
A long shot I know, but due to a change in circumstances - I'm now able to go tomorrow! I presume our allocation has gone, and we can't pay on the door - anyone got any ideas how I can lay my hands on two adult tickets for me and the mrs?

It'll have to be the home end.  Perhaps if you are willing to pay extra buy some Scunny gloves/scalf or something from the club shop cheap then go to the Ticket office to get your tickets, then give the gloves or something to a young kid who doesn't have one as a goodwill gesture.  Bit extreme but if you struggle getting generally served at the ticket office it may be an option.

Last season plenty sat/stood in the home end and many had shirts on too :)

Cheers, altho I was hoping for some mindblowing revelation like, \"I've got two spare Al, your's for the taking if you want 'em!\" Ha! That said - I wonder if the home ticket office would  really be that fussed about two 'nearly 40s being sat there!' Will try in the morning if I've no luck on here!

Have you tried the ticket office? Someone on Radio Sheff said there was 15 tickets left.

Yeah to be fair - when it comes to our footy teams, despite what's said about others we're all wonkers!

Pretty pointless saying that about me, the amount of times I've openly said I've bought tickets for friends in the home end it's a bit pointless trying that one on me.  I've taken the stick for it before, but I'm quite happy to do it to sit with my mates at matches.

I'm not sure if I speak for everyone on here, but I haven't got a problem with Leeds fans in the home end at the KMS, as long as they don't cause any trouble or make it blatantly obvious that they are a Leeds fan (i.e the ones jumping around just asking for trouble when you scored at the KMS in our promotion season.)

I daresay the OP, being desperate for a ticket, will probably choose to sit on his hands at Scunny if we score, rather than deliberately trying to incite resentment and trouble.

Yeah, i would, despite this one and the millers being in my opinion the 'real' local derbies! There'd be no incitement or gloating from me! i'm not even a screamer and shouter at the KM! I watch and analyse - still hopeful of getting a ticket for me -Mrs will have to shop!

If ya talk to Peter Beagrie before the game he'll give ya some freebie tickets but you might have to  \"nosh\" him off in the comm box
