Title: Scunny v Donny
Post by: CusworthRovers on October 16, 2010, 12:06:33 am
Well, I'm in first again:

I'm really up for this and can't wait to hit the road or M180. It seems to have been an eternity.

No Shelts, Chambo or Thomas (what's happening with this guy Rovers).

I'm feeling a

..............Neil.............

Mustapha...James.. Adam.........George

..........Mark..Simon...............

...James.....John...........Martin

............William.................

I'm feeling a 1-3 win with William x2 and George on the scoresheet.

Was chatting about the match with BobJimWilly in a pub in Barnsley last night.  Weboth fancy a win.

1-0 Rovers

Horrible little ping pong pitch, Stocky to score in extra time from the half way line, Billy to have scored just before half time.

0 - 2

0-1 Oster with the goal. I really think we should start Stocky today, he now knows he has a point to prove, it seems he is really not happy with being dropped, wants a new contract and most of all its not just another game its a local derby. I think we will see the old Brian Stock back today if he plays.

What a day, I can't wait. I love Scunthorpe away, and I think we have a great chance of winning today. Is it asking for too much for Oster & Woods to redeem last year's errors and score today, along with the mandatory goal from Billy to hit them for 3?

If I'm honest Woods was my man of the match in last seasons game, I thought ran the show, scored the penalty and wasn't he the one who crossed for Billy? Agree with Oster though he had an excellent game until he and Fortune were stupid which cost us the three points.

Line up:

Sullivan, Dumbuya, Friend, O'Connor, Lockwood, Gillett, M.Woods, Oster, Coppinger, Hayter, Sharp.

Subs: Stock, Brooker, Wilson, Hird, Shiels, Webster, G.Woods.

Disappointed that Stocky isn't starting.

Personally not happy that Woods taking central berth again with Oster on left.

I think we're better the other way round.

Our two favourite defenders strike again.

1-0 down free header between a motionless Friend and Lockwood.

We need to wake up here. I just think Oster needs to be more involved in the middle, dictating the play. Or get Stock on.

Couple of chances. Can only get better.

Copps playing well. 2 good efforts. Just headed against the post from a corner. I think he should do more in the box with his head. For a little lad he's got a great leap.

Perhaps this is the season he reaches his potential.

Brian Stock coming on for a whole 8 minutes - I really don't know what on earth is going on, even after listening to SOD's interview!
Title: Re:Scunny v Donny
Post by: DonnyBazR0ver on October 16, 2010, 01:45:41 pm
The result will probably vindicate SOD's decision. I think there's room in that midfield with perhaps Woods being under pressure.

Hope you had the  money down

Cheers pal. I saw the score, I saw Billy with 2 and I saw a left back heading one in, it's a shame GG went off, as it would have been him steaming in for the header.

No cash made. I never bet on Rovers, unless I get a freebie from Betfair/SkyBet. Shame really, seeing as Man U and Ipswich cost me £127
