Good grief, stop scaring me like that! I thought Lewis was the loan striker for a minute!

Have you tried saying \"Here you are you little scamp\" whilst handing over a 50 pence piece before carrying on your way with a little smile reminiscing about what it's like to be young? ;)

I tried that one while he was here but Lewis refused to catch the bus and leave!

Of course I have, but nowadays, theres moral issues raised by such an act isn't there?

The kids nowadays are more likely to spend the money on cheap cider or even drugs than the fireworks that used to be bought years ago! You can end up putting them on the road to ruin by just participating in such a tradition!

Anyway what is the acceptable amount nowadays 20p, 50p, a quid?  Anything less is likely to be met with a \"tight cnut\" as soon as your about 25 yards away!!!!

Anyone remember bomby raiding by the way?

Sav, apart from the throwing the guy over a wall, GR is correct! A few times I have only given 1p for the guy only to be given the response \"is that all?\" My reply being \" well you only asked for 1p, if you wanted more then you should have asked for more....business is business\"  ;)

Hold both hands up about shoulder height, palms facing inwards and shake them slightly whilst shaking your head slightly side to side (are you actually doing this now?). Finally reply a few words in Polish or pretend Polish and continue about your merry way.

To make it look more authentic, you could where a T shirt with this logo on
