I went to the Man Utd v Valencia game last night for my 1st experience of Old Trafford and of Champions League football! Must start off by saying what an awesome stadium it is and great atmosphere!
I got tickets in the top tier of the Stretford End and was amazed that the entire top tier stood throughout the match!! It was fantastic! Reminded me of how much better it was to be standing at football matches, and the need to be chanting to keep urself warm on cold nights like last night!
The one downside of the night was that they do not sell any kind of booze in the concourse for Champions League games, piss poor idea whoever came up with that one!!

rtid my arse. More like Rovers until you go and support man-u.

I agree with you on the atmosphere for the Champions league games. Totally top notch.
I've been to few over the last couple of years Celtic/Rangers/Villareal.
Totally different to what we have and i'd not enjoy it every week but for a couple of times a year it's very enjoyable.

Shut up. Please.
I've been to plenty of non-games, Bolton v Birmingham this season for one. I support Rovers but I appreciate football as a whole and enjoy travelling to/watching random games.
Get over yourself.

So Boomstick do u not watch other teams play football on tele or do u just save urself for the few Rovers games that are shown, u must not be a Rovers fan otherwise, u D!ck!! I went because i have never been to old Trafford or experienced a champions league game live. End of!!

There's no need to resort to childish name calling. Send each other a nice private message and move on.
and relax...

My bad!!
-
You're bad what?
-
Do I really need to explain,
'My Bad':
A way of admitting a mistake, and apologizing for that mistake, without actually apologizing. The best definition I ever read of this, now paraphrased:
\"I did something bad, and I recognize that I did something bad, but there is nothing that can be done for it now, and there is technically no reason to apologize for that error, so let's just assume that I won't do it again, get over it, and move on with our lives.\"
Ruder than apologizing, but with the same meaning: a flippant apology.

My bad. (said in a nasal american accent)

Been to see Rangers many years ago in a chumpions league qualifier. Must admit in the space of 90 mins it was one of the most bouyant vibrant atmospheres I`ve been in right to the point when Rangers went behind(shock horror!) and it turned instantly to the most hostile(football wise) atmosphere I`ve ever been in, all aimed towars the 600/700 or so PSV Atheletico Munchen dortmund fc or what ever team it was fans!

Went to Ibrox about 15 years ago to see Rangers V Juventus. Got tickets in the Juve end. The atmosphere was amazing right thru. Even though Rangers got stuffed 4-0, their fans were brilliant til the end, staying behind and applauding the Juve fans.
