Be a decent challenge for him, although indicates that looking at a manager with lower English league experience, great ambition then from them :)

At least they are realistic about their level, you have to move most Scottish teams down a level when comparing them to our football.
Realism has it's place and DP would do them a really good job, I have always thought that 'Well have not reached their potential for years considering their catchment area.
Have Cardiff paid them yet do we known ? ;)

As someone with a soft spot for Hibs I wish DP had got that job and not Calderwood!

Another example of a board not using their brains...
Why oh why did they go with Stuart McCall?
He was probably the worst manager in Bradford City's history; yet how can they think he'd be a success at that level?
2.5 year contract as well....
(and he was completely overrated as a footballer too)

I could've played in the SPL ;)
Fair points though Rigo; it just astounds me that Directors still think that (in their opinion) decent footballers make good managers.
He was always in Snods shadow, both in Division 3 whilst at Bradford and also at Everton.
I'll be surprised if he sees his contract out there.

DP for PV, then?

To be fair to McCall, he didn't really have the resorces at Valley Parade. Good Luck to him there.

I'd disagree with that; in comparison to the rest of the division in his first season, the Bradford budget was the largest in the division.
Contrast that to the likes of Mark Yates at Cheltenham and Sammy McIlroy at Morecambe who have their teams playing decent stuff on complete shoestrings.....
