Watching the BDO is like watching Conference football when you just been spoilt by Lionel Messi

I reckon Adams would get slaughtered if he ever dare set foot in the PDC

just because the BBC make it look shite and the lakeside is worse, and the stage looks rubbish, don't let that rule your judgement of the top players, whates won the grand slam this year, gary anderson is ranked number 4 in the PDC and never got a look in in the BDO and he only moved over 3 years ago, Merve King is in the top 10 and never won anything in the BDO i agree the PDC is far better but there are 3-4 top players in the BOD who could hold there own and earn a fair few quid if they moved over to the pdc

Had £10 on Winstanley to win at 25/1, gutted he lost but enjoyed the run anyway.

Would've been a tidy each-way bet. Nevertheless as you say a good run and entertaining final. Some of the early rounds were infuriatingly poor at times but it's good to pick out some of the young players coming through who may be destined for the PDC.

Whatever happened to Anastasia Dobromyslova? I haven't seen anything of her for a while so perhaps she can't hack it in the men's game.

Yeah, i could also have covered my bet by backing Adams but it wouldn't have been as exciting knowimg i couldn't loose whoever won.

She's gone back to the BDO Mike. The womens game in the PDC wasn't very organised and she played on the mens tour but struggled.

I wonder if she'll stay in the men's game there or go back to the women's circuit. If she were to play and have success in the men's game it would effectively make the women's competition worthless. If she rejoins the women then Trina Gulliver may have won her last pot.

She's playing in the womens events primarily but there's not much money in it really. She'll enter the Open tournaments with the men and will probably surprise a few people.
