Best of luck today to everyone.
I'll go for a 2 - 2 Donny win for a moral(e) victory!
-
Ever t'optimist, I'll go 2-1, Copps and Billy.
-
Match preview now up on Viva Rovers (http://vivarovers.wordpress.com/2011/02/15/follow-up-punch-ipswich-town-preview/)
I'm going for 7-6... sods law it will be too as I'm not there
-
1-0 Rovers, with a Billy Sharp penalty.
If you're BST, 0-0!
-
2-0 Both goals from Billy who celebrates by taking his shirt off revealing...
\"Just a fat lad from Sheffield - eat your words BST\" ;)
-
kin ell. If I ate my words, I'd be fatter than Eric Pickles.
-
Is that even possible?
-
Can exiles report on how the forum performs tonight when you`re all online, now that little tweaks have been made
-
1-1 but with a lot better performance to go with it they score with a peno given away by killa woods saves but rebound goes in deno scores for us with a magic curling goal both scored in front of south stand

Has he done his 2 games a season already ?
-
Well, I've done something I never thought I'd do. Just got my mate to stick hundred on Ipswich at 2/1. We won't get owt against this lot tonight, even if we started playing now. I think this could be embarrassing...

Don't forget Grayson, who could be making his league debut.
He'll come off the bench and notch a last minute winner.
Rovers 1-0 Ipswich (Grayson 90+6)
-
f**k me, that's a line up I thought I'd never see.
What do we donin training? Does it just consist of players hitting each other with baseball bats or summat? Cos we couldn't get more injuries that way than we do at present.
-
george on the wing? might be a good position for him what do u think?
-
Friend, Mills and Copps all showing well at the start.
-
Surely a manager worth his salt would have called Fairhurst back from his loan
Unless ofcourse, Sharp became ill late on today or Fairhurst has no future at DRFC
-
Dont think he can recall Fairhurst for the first 28 days
-
what even if the whole of Rovers strikers are injured ?
What about Lewis Guy on loan ?
-
There's a lad at Hillsbro' who can't get a start ?
-
You can only go so far lad...... even suggesting it should get you a good beating!
-
I wouldn't mind PH back.
-
any early news on how were playing???
-
22:14 John Oster has an effort from just inside the box that misses to the left of the goal.
1st attempt
-
0-1 shit, poss OG
-
what about playing Sam Hird upfront
-
Damn, Bugger, Shit aaaaaaaaaaaggggggggghhhhhhhhh
-
Here we go again!
-
This is where Halsey should help his mate Ryan out with a dodgy pen
-
I-was-there1976 wrote:

I think we may need more than one
-
dodgy pen and 1 sending off
update after 29 mins
no attempts on target from Rovers
-
Apparently Ipswich have never kept a clean sheet against us away from home, well it appears tonight is the night unless someone grows a few.
-
FUK FUK FUK FUK
-
Oh dear, difficult now.
-
(0-2) btw
-
another 3 points down the swanny.
wont get owt at swansea or norwich.
-
even the the loyal supporters might be leaving early at this rate
-
:( :( :(
-
Going down anyone?
Can't see where the next point is coming from
-
Come on Rovers make the pressure count!
-
Barmby Rover wrote:

That is possibly the biggest understatement since that lad from Sheffield fell down that crevass 20000 foot up a mountain in Peru, breaking both legs and phoned his mam up to tell her to plate his dinner cos he was going to be a bit longer getting home than he'd planned.
-
37:34 James Chambers takes a shot
Hooooooray
-

Webster is on the bench!!!!
-
By my estimate we need at least 10 more points for safety, where will they come from? If there is no money left for loans and we cant keep the ones we have fit I feel we are buggered.
-
39:07 James Coppinger takes a shot
its carnage
-
Better last few minutes BST, never give up hope lad!
-

Good Call B)
-
we re gonna win 7-6
-
Embarrassing now and it's only going to get worse, look forward to Chesterfield then?
-
0-3
-
Can Sullivan play upfront ?
-
Remember Man City!
-
So it was all Sulli's fault then folks? Looks like it wasn't. Patched up team struggling. It will be interesting to see what happens in the second half.
-
West Ham came back to get a draw from being 3 down at half time - can anyone see the same happening here tonight?
-
3 nil down at half time cannot see us coming back from this
-
No Sharp, Hayter out injured, Lord only knows whats wrong with Brooker and SOD let young Fairhurst out on Loan??
No money for emergency Loan signings or anything....
Someone has lost the plot, since the SOD sheff Utd story everything has gone downhill.
Me thinks something isn't quite right behind the scenes
-
Were going down with united!
Down with uniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiited!
Were going down with united!

-
Just what I was thinking Guernsey
-
Is Grayson a striker? Come on son, fill your boots!
-
are we doing a bit better now? Ipswich haven't scored for ten minutes?
-
is this what happens when ya blow all ya transfer budget(the biggest in the clubs history) on 4 top earning players ?
-

I think you have hit the nail on the head there is definitely something wrong. The team spirit isn't there. God I'd be so embarassed at the run we are on as a player why aren't they?
-

Yeah lets get Larry on - look at the muck in here :)
-
Chambers off Thomas on - a good attacking subsitution!
-
Wayne Thomas coming on for James Chambers.
gonna bludgeon (sic) em to death
-
That sub smacks of - this game is gone - who needs some game time

Nah - he's had his 45
-
time to give Burge 30 minutes ?
-
time to score 5?
-

You would think so, but SOD knows best, doesn't he?
-
SOD's team score 5 ?
Drug test lol
-
Bristol Red Rover Jnr. wrote:

Yep they have plenty of time for a 5th!
-
and its 5-0
-
not looking good is it,what will grip most rovers fans
will not be the scoreline of the defeat but the lack of
forward line cover in the squad.
what with fairhurst out on loan and no forwards to pick
i guess SOD is in for a ear bashing
-
Time to bring another goalie on and play 2 in nets
or not
-
Unbelievable how we've capitulated since New Year. Crazy.
Oh shit. 0-5
-
9 more goals and we ll have the same goal diff as Sheff U
-
Mortley:
\"Biggest problem is we haven't got a striker on the pitch.\"
I thought the score was 0-5, not 0-0.
-
Have they got any b*llocks? 5-0 at home ffs the lot of them want t**tting. Sean keeps saying it's the performance not the result that matters, well we are getting neither Sean.
-
Just got in and logged on... thought it was a misprint at first... what on earth is going wrong :(
-
Tamas Priskin comes on in place of Jason Scotland
thats ok then :silly:
-
for sure donny/ipswich games or ipswich/donny games seem to have
goals goals and more goals.
was it not 3-3 last term at KMS,3-2 at portman this season and last count 0-5 at KMS 2nite
-
As some Norwegian commentator nearly said - Billy Sharp, James Hayter, Brian Stock, Martin Woods, Simon Gillett, Muzzy Dumbuya, Adam Lockwood, Ryan Mason, Steve Brooker, Shelton Martis, Waide Fairhurst.......... without you our boys took a hell of a beating
And by the way surely none of Kilgallon, Mills, Wilson, Sullivan and Burge can be match fit, and Friend and Chambers are not long back, and Copps was also out recently.......
Ouch
-
Sheffield U. 0 - 1 Reading
-
At least the Blunts are losing and Preston drawing. Maybe they will contrive to do what we can't and keep us up.
-
ScillyRover wrote:

Just seen the line-up. With that, it doesn't surprise me we're losing
-
5 nil down and we bring on another centre back - postive moves by SOD going for the win again!
-
The Blunts have an equaliser they might be shit but they have balls.
-
Now its 6 - Hird OG and gives away a pen! Not his best game then
-
I think John Ryan is fitter than Brooker. Get him registered
-
6-0 FT. We've hit rock bottom, 3-0 win next game ;)
-
Hang your heads in shame boys, biggest ever home defeat well that is something to be proud of isn't it.
-
DearneValleyRover wrote:

True - only in the Football League cup (Chelsea 0-7 and Forest 0-8) have we had larger home defeats
-
Sully back in goal for Saturday, Hird left at home, Killa back in his place. Stock in to the Midfield instead of Mills who drops back to LB instead of Friend. Hopefully Brooker is fit and he can play upfront with either Copps or Shiels
