Last game for the lad? ..... seems like security at the turnstiles was a bit iffy!
A police investigation has been launched in Colombia after football fans brought the dead body of a teenage fan to a game. The cadaver was taken in a coffin to the Primera Division clash between Cucuta Deportivo and Envigado by some particularly fanatical friends of the deceased.
The body of Christopher Jacome was taken to watch a game in Colombia.
According to reports, the coffin contained the body of 17-year-old Christopher Jacome, who was gunned down in a local park while playing football.
Members of the Cucuta Barra del Indio supporter group arrived to pay their respects at the funeral service and decided their pal deserved the ultimate send-off - a trip to see his idols one last time.

I can't decide whether that's really sick or quite touching..
-
I heard it mentioned on the radio and also had mixed feelings as to it being a bit sick or a touching tribute.
-
Will he be renewing his season ticket?
I bet he still made more noise than most of our fans.
Did the stewards make them take the lid off the coffin?
Sorry I just had to get them off my chest. I'm done now I promise.

I think we should do the same for the old lad who used to stand behind me on the Pop Side at BV and ejaculate, \"Or bloody 'ell, ere we gu agen!\" the first time we lost a tackle, mis-placed a pass or launched an aimless hoof somewhere in the general direction of St Ann's Road. He must have shuffled off by now, but every time Lockwood or Martis send one of their Hail Mary passes into orbit, I SWEAR I can hear him shouting, \"Nor agen!\"

I see our Commercial have jumped on this already:
From DROS
Rovers are pleased to announce their official death partnership is Co-op Funeral Services:
'In the past Rovers have worked with G Reaper and sons, who helped us through the Richardson era, but we've realised we must move with the times for this fast growing club. We've listened to the fans saying the Keepmoat is like a morgue, so let's make it a Rovers morgue with the help of the Co-op' said Dave Morris.

PMSL!!!
That G Reaper isnt one to cross, you know.
-
I want to know if the stewards told him off for standing..................... ;)
and as we all know, without a proper anthem even a full stadium can be a bit of a morgue...... :(
-
I couldn't help wondering if the late Senor Jacome (like the bloke who sits on the row in front of me at the Keepmoat) he left five minutes before the end \"to beat the traffic.\"
-
Isn't it tradition for traffic to allow the procession through? :P
