Title: Donny v Cardiff
Post by: Sandy Lane on April 09, 2011, 08:50:56 am
I'll start as you all must be gearing up for the match.

Best of luck today, and I'll go for a 1-1 draw.  :scarf:  :scarf:

I'll to for a shock (as reported on the FLFLS tonight) 2-1 win to us.

Copps and Martis with the goals.

Hopefully a quiet day on here because most will be at KMS! I think it's difficult to call. We could well come up with a shock win for reasons that have been voiced on the forum already. We seem to have got a bit more organised at the back, so perhaps at least we will avoid a tonking!
A few more points and we should be back in the Championship next term. Come on Rovers!

If we can find our scoring boots a win for us, if not a win for them.

1-0 Donny, form book turned on its head, 12 points clear of danger by close of the day.

Match preview for this game now available on Viva Rovers (http://vivarovers.wordpress.com).

I'm going for a 5-0 win... Ah leave me alone, why not? The sun's out. I'm feeling positive... and possibly drunk

I'm a new subscriber to player, is anyone else having problems? Still no commentry, I've been listening to Cardiffs coverage for 15 minutes (sounded like a great reception for Sean McDaid).

Just listen to the cardiff commentary, I know it tends to favour the other side, but at least you can guarantee it is there.

Half time 1 nil Cardiff, really sounds like we've missed a lot of good chances, stats back that up as well.

Possession -    Rovers 57% - 43% Cardiff
On target  -    Rovers 3 - 2 Cardiff
Off target -    Rovers 5 - 1 Cardiff
Corners -    Rovers 6 - 1 Cardiff

I've got a feeling we can get a goal second half but that still means keeping Bellamy and co quiet for another half!

Back 4 still fairly balanced with Killa in centre and George going to left. We could do with an equaliser.

Given Preston's score we certainly could do with something today

Edit: add Scunthorpe to that

Was nothing to do with the defence. They were fine today.

2nd goal was a free kick from 25 yards out - how can the defence stop that?
3rd goal came from us pushing for an equaliser. Our own free-kick was headed away, Wilson failed to clear on halfway and got charged down. Koumas and Bellamy worked it between them and it deflected in off Muzzy who had sprinted back.
