If you want real quality for your tattoo go to Nigel Kurt in Barnsley or Fiona Long in Sheffield.
Just google them....

I would consider having a Rovers tattoo but my body is far too hairy to make it worthwhile.

I'm too nesh. And there's nowt I want to display on my body for all time that I wouldn't be embarrassed about in future. And Tats look shite when they're old and blured.

That is an answer from the middle class party.

I had that debate with myself before my first one.  They are kind of addictive though.

They are addictive, something to do with the chemicals released from the nerves to do with pain.

Another good reason not to start. You only need look at poor old David Beckham or John Oster to see how bad things can get.

Interesting story about tats that I'll pass along.

A few years ago I was interviewing one of the nurses where I worked at the time for a pre surgery history.  She stated she had had Hepatitis C.  We got to talking about how she had gotten it and it seemed both she and her sister had gotten tattoos at the same time and same place, but she was the only one who got Hep C.  The only thing that was different was that her sisters tat only used one color ink and hers had multiple colors on it. To make a long story short, the NYS Health Dept got involved and discovered that the hep c virus was carried in the ink and one of the colors of the ink used on her had been previously contaminated with the virus!

So if you're going to get tats, in addition to having the tattoo artist use a new needle, insist that they open a new bottle of ink for every color used.  If they refuse go somewhere else or buy the ink yourself as it's worth the extra cost.  In order to cure hep c, usually a regimen of interferon is used, which takes about a year, is quite nasty and not always successful.

So the moral of the story is safety first, m'dears!

Sacred skin on East Laith gate is supposed to be good! I wanna get a Rovers themed one done soon to go with the Gecko I had branded on reaching Australia's Northern Territory nearly 10 years ago! Fancy a badge on my left shoulder-blade!

I've got three stars down my spine starting just below the neckline. Obviously, it relates to the three third division titles Rovers won....

;)

I now fancy a half-sleeve of a Japanese water dragon.
