Title: Federer

Completely bottled it.

Super human stuff from Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

This has to be the best Wimbledon for many a year.

Little disappointed, as he's my favourite player (love his name too :P). Tsonga did deserve it though.

Bottled it, yes and full credit to Tsonga for his brilliant efforts, but I do credit Federer for the way he conducted himself at the end there - magnanimous in defeat and waited for Tsonga to collect is stuff, instead of just walking off the court....a true champion in my eyes.

I do think that Nadal will win the tournament now.

Assuming his ankle gives him no more trouble, then he probably will.

Federer always conducts himself really well in defeat. He was absolutely spot on and very dignified when Nadal beat him in the 2008 final - and that was a far bigger game than today's as Federer was challenging for an unprecedented sixth straight Wimbledon title.

Djokovic will probably beat Tsonga in the semi-final now. He's a better player anyway (not that it counts for much this year) but Tsonga has had a lot of long, five set, physically and mentally draining games at Wimbledon already this year. Djokovic being just a bit fresher than him will be a big advantage.

He's had one 5 setter. Djokovic has played 17 sets, Tsonga 18. It's hardly decisive stuff. I was on Court Two the other day watching Tsonga beat Gonzalez and he hardly had to break sweat. I was also on Centre later in the day and Djokovic had to work a hell of a lot harder to beat Baghdatis. But yes, Djokovic should win as he is the better player.

I'd fancy Murray to beat a not fully fit Nadal in the other, but to lose to Djokovic in the final as Djokovic is now much stronger mentally.
