Anyone watching this year? Who do you reckon will win?
Personally I reckon it'll end up between Andy Schleck and Cadel Evans this year.

just seen billy sharp fall off his bike in the race

Do you actually have a life? Or can you see France as well as Cantley? and fcuk me, Billy must be magic if he's in both places... as well as in an ambulance!

Yes I will be watching as often as possible - and I did fancy Andy Schleck last year
Was disappointed that on the first stage when that big crash happened they did not take the \"usual\" step of letting the fallen catch up but instead chose to put time into Contador
... hardly ethical
Being a man of leisure (mostly) I will be glued to the Mountain Stages whenever they come and I hope Contador can reign supreme just cos it gets up the noses of the host Country !
1 Contador
2 Schleck 3 Evans

I really don't like Contador, simply because I don't think he's a team player. I know it's not wholly a team sport, but as a cyclist he comes across as supremely selfish (yes I realise he's team leader).
I reckon Contador will pick up time in the mountains, but I hope he doesn't win. Excellent rider, just don't like him.

It seems bizarre with 3,000km to go but Contador will have to work very hard to catch the couple of minutes up he lost on the first 2 stages.
Schleck for me

Agreed - Contador so has his work cut out for him.
Who do you guys reckon for the other jerseys?

I reckon Tracy (aka Donny Dog) should win \"King of the Mountains\"

Whilst I have the utmost respect for the fitness of these guys, as a sporting spectacle and competition it leaves me completely cold. Whenever you go on holiday in Europe you get wall to wall coverage of any cycling event going on.
I think it's because they can't work out cricket myself that they have to resort to peddling up and down hills.
Each to their own though.

In the Vendee yesterday to see the tour pass. Roads were closed for 5 hours, amazing how many locals didn't realise this and couldn't cut across the route.
Contador wsa booed at the presentation ceremony, not surprising really given the drugs charge. I'll go for Schleck or Evans, with Cavendish for the green jersey despite his 10 point loss yesterday.

I reckon this could well be Cav's year in terms of the green. He looked explosive as usual in the intermediate sprint in yesterday's stage, hopefully he won't get boxed in again today!

Just seen the highlights to get another look at this - there's absolutely nothing in it. Very poor judgement, as even the presenters said they'd have to disqualify half the sprint contestants if they were gonna use that particular rule consistently.
It's almost as if they're trying to prevent him from winning green, as it's happened in the last 3 Tours now..
