Title: Cheap places to stay in Amsterdam?

Anybody know of cheap, reasonably good places to stay in Amsterdam for a lads weekend?

Hotel Torenzicht. Have stayed there a few times - £35 a night each if you're sharing.

Cheap as chips. 24 hr bar downstairs. Friendly staff. Come and go as you please. Right in the middle of the RLD.

Ask for a room highest up facing the side street and you'll have a discreet view of the ladies* plying their trade in the windows below.


*See if you can spot which are female and which are not. Clue: not many.

I've stayed at the Hotel Luxer a couple of times. It's clean, reasonably priced and only a short walk from all the \"attractions\". Try the Amnesia Haze in Barney's Breakfast Bar.

We stayed at an appartment through the \"Loving Amsterdam\" site.
Great location, really clean and cheap though all the DVD's and magazines are gay porn.
Suppose it depends what sort of lads weekend you are having...

That is f**king funny. I can just imagine a taxi load of Donny's finest rocking up at the flat, necking a few beers in the lounge before heading out, ayup wait a minute has anyone seen these there magazines?
