Hello pal,
I've just stuck a thread up in the Viking Chat about the fact that i'm doing a test run of a live commentary for the match, would you be interested in linking people there if I send whatever viewers I get over to you at the end of the match?
Basically a share-for-share type thing? Up to you, thought i'd mention it :)

1-1 (Barnes '23)
Rovers down to ten after Naylor receives two yellows, but manage to hang onto the one goal lead until injury time, when a back post cross evades the defence and is nodded in by Robinson.
That, or 2-1 Derby.

Gi' oer yer daft t**t. Once in 520-odd professional matches has Naylor been sent off for two yellow cards and once for a professional foul (highly contoversial decision apparently).
The man is a classic example of a rock-hard but professional defender. If he gets sent off tomorrow, I'll bare my arse on the 5th green at Hexthorpe Flats pitch and putt.
-
Same scoreline as the game earlier this year: 3-1 to Rovers.
-
Fingers crossed for this match! I predict a wondrous 1-2 Rovers win and no one hurt or stretchered off!!
:scarf: :scarf:
P.S. I guess the logo fairy hasn't gotten to NY yet. :(
-
Hope the lad from chelsea gets off the mark. He says he's starting on his twitter

Please God let him stay on the field!

Bugger me, what you you do if you played a lose shot as that happened. I couldn't see me playing out. I think I'd take a drop!

-
Yep - Can't get signed in. Also can't on Derby Player
-
cant get in either...ffs
-
Player. An absolute disgrace that they manage to screw something up on matchdays.
-
Straight in on Player for me.
Shyte! Barnes just missed a chance.
-
Live match viewer not updating but at least got commentary.
Rovers not settled at all yet.
-
15.33 Afternoon ruined while faffing about trying to get commentary, go one down.
Very angry. Only one thing can brighten my day up now.
Come on !!!
-
Got in after 25 minutes faffing with 2 computers. Bloody ridiculous

You don`t want to listen mate, we sound shite!
-
Is that Tony Buff assist. commentator? Takes me back...ooooohhh! aaaaaaaahhhh! Bradders was da man!
-
Wish I could see whats going on, but does sound like we can threaten and get something from this. I'm encouraged anyway, maybe too easily!
-
There doesn't seem to be any target up front for us, despite Browny playing, we should be using him as the pivot for others to run onto surely.
-
Sounds bloody awful.
2 changes to the team seems to have killed whatever continuity in play we had. Bennett to come on in 2nd half?
-
It not exactly rivetting stuff. Paul reckons Derby are there for the taking. Sounds like we've no takers :(
-
We sound like a toothless tiger with a gum condition!
-
Just annoys me so many times when we refuse to put the ball into the danger area.
-
I'd say so Baz, on for Reece Brown from what I can tell from commentary. Poss even on for Chris Brown, the target man role doesn't seem to have worked in the three games we've tried it.
-
Is Lalkovic playing?.. if so, has he done anything
-
I guess having a target man keeps them occupied at the back, but needs the attacking midfield to be quick up for the lay offs. Lots of effort needed - have we got the stamina?
-
Is Lalkovic playing?.. if so, has he done anything
He is. Seems to have got in there a few times. I think he can get one given half a chance.
-
Oster and Giles need to be given a free role -- someone else needs to anchor at the back; maybe Gillet ? Oster in front of the back 4 is a waste of his talent
RTID
ps...young Brown OFF and Bennett ON
-
I've got a radio link in the changing rooms - Sean \"Milan, pick up that sweaty towel. George, please don't wipe your boots on your socks, what kind of attitude is that for a Captain? Say thanks to the lovely Derby tea ladies! Mmmmm... I needed that. So, we're losing. Mustapha, sit down and listen to me. How are you going to be a winner with an attitude like that... all this bending over and stretching. There's a time and a place for that. Right then... lets see. Simon, can you fold your clothes and not leave them in that scruffy state like you did before going out onto the pitch. No wonder we're losing!.....\"
-
I guess that the stats do show the story so far. Derby 3 attempts on goal, 2 on target, Rovers 4 attempts on goal, all off target.
-

agreed with the subs there , but lets wait till the 85th minute eh
-
Emile Heskey got a goal today, so you never know  we really do lack that cutting edge, hopefully Lalkavic can bag himself a debut goal..
-
The truth is that without key individuals and for me thats JOC,Sharp,Stock, Copps and to a degree Hayter or M Woods we're a shadow of our real selves. Its about not falling too far behind ahead of their returns.

2-0 game over!!!!!!!!
-
Back post again. game over
-
Far post cross again !!
-
2-0
-
Have we come out yet. But unfair to kick off without us.
-
Muzzy slipped....
-
I like Muzzy but........
-
Have we come out yet. But unfair to kick off without us.
SOD's pre match and half time teamtalk made the team fall asleep
-
Muzzy slipped....
Same old story....
-
Be prepared for a long long season!
-
Total lack of concentration by the sound of it
-
He needs to be protected a bit, every goal at the moment seems to come from his sector, losing a bit of confidence?
-
He aint no O'Connor.......thats for sure
-
Ah the old first five minutes of the second half vulnerability trick.....it strikes again.
-
I thought when Naylor came in, it would steady things down at the back and the early signs were good. Wheels seem to have come off again.
Achilles heel, poor allowing crosses and defending crosses.
-
Our midfield is the problem with our toothlessness, no one wants to get forward and support!!!!!
-
Could be worse. I think defending our 2 goal deficit may be the best option eh Sean?
-
6 points from last 48 ?... Jeeeez
-
More like it :) Come on!
-
I thought we were after a fox in the box. Lalkovic looked like he could do a job and what happens, we play him in midfield ??
Baffling.
-
shite
-
f**king shite!!!!!
Prepare for a mega low crowd next week JR!
-
Whats with our defence?
-
0 points from 12 oh dear not the best way to start a season but it all about the performance eh?
great some more stick from leeds fans at work
-
Gonna be a long season.
Just one for discussion, but is SOD's Arsenal Of The North brand of football actually possible with the depth of quality we can afford on our budget? Would he not be better off running this in the Premiership with us bringing in a Bremner-type character?
-
JR probably gonna blame the ref
-
Confidence in the defence ebbing away fast
-
These midfielders need a kick up the arse, not closing down and not supporting when we are attacking, the defence will always be under pressure if there`s no bite in midfield!!!!!!
-
:headbang: Sick of this.
I havent been in England since the Forest draw last year, coming back on Wednesday and thinking about the Brizzle game on Saturday, 27 quid.....
-
Poor performance. Somehow we have to change the way we are playing to start this season. The leaders of this side are all out today, except Oster, and he seems to have gone missing, hardly mentioned in this half. The youngsters have performed.......like youngsters, maybe a little bit out of their depth? SOD doesn't have much time to turn this one round, but he needs to.
-
It seems Rovers don't know which way forward is - it is towards their goal not ours.
We never shoot. This is very very poor.
-

That's a good point.
-
Don't worry winning isn't important its how we play. Keep passing it around the back four and midfield lads SOD will be happy.
Just try keeping possession don't worry about having a shot or heaven forbid scoring a goal.
-
0 points from 12 oh dear not the best way to start a season but it all about the performance eh?
great some more stick from leeds fans at work
What's even more a startling stat is the meagre points total we've accrued in the last 23 games :(
-
Stock, Woods and Copps + a mix of [Oster,Hayter, Mason,Barnes,Bennett] would be first choice every time.
The lads in their place just havent stepped up and maybe they just cant.
-
Well, we and the management need to wake up and smell the coffee, we need to grind out results, bollox to the pretty football, it`s points we need, and quick, relegation is looking a certainty!!!!!
-
This start was all too predictable pre season in our lack of signing a quality keeper.
Woods is League One standard at best.......nothing will convince me otherwise, he may improve...bt that doesnt help us now does it?
We should have pushed the boat out for Murphy pre season...it may well cost us much much more with the decision not to do so.
As for playing this new guy from Chelsea in midfield?!?! Just WTF is going on?!?!
-
The good thing about being bottom is that there is only one direction we can go. Bad performance, but once we get a squad back, I'm confident that we can turn things around.
Positive thoughts and a large number of beers required................
-
Here comes the messiah. Last straw for some fans there. Wilson coming on!
-
We are simply not good enough - we will be relegated if we do not correct the basic mistakes and lack of desire.
No excuses we are continuing the form of last season. Poor defensive play, no cutting edge.
-

I agree with Sean to a large extent. But geeing them up and getting fire in their bellies is also important. Maybe playing the passing game needs them to be chilled? Spliff rather than tea at half time perhaps?
I just hope Sean looks at whats been happening and looks for that different perspective in a real way, and not trot out the usual trite comments after the game. Take it on the chin Sean and respond!
-
MM does have a point but if we fall too far behind....we'll be in a mess with the pressure
-
Via my man at the game, Milan been in attack most of this half.
-
To be fair I would have preferred to have seen Wilson doing the job that Oster has been doing in front of the back four, and then releasing Oster to be more creative in midfield, keeping the youngsters in reserve if we needed new legs. A safe pair of hands and all that....
-
Wilson on for Chris Brown. Can anyone say anything positive about that? Maybe we are looking at the goal difference already?
-
:headbang: Sick of this.
I havent been in England since the Forest draw last year, coming back on Wednesday and thinking about the Brizzle game on Saturday, 27 quid.....
I hear ye. Tickets bought, flying in from Colombia specially, train from Stansted, pick-up at Peterborough station Saturday morning, Little Chef on the way up the A1, could have spent the lot on co...ffee instead.
-
Barmby; spot on. 100%.
-
im suprised people are so shocked to the start of the season.
Spurr not good enough for league 1 Sheff Wed
Woods not good enough for Championship football
Naylor not good enough and cant play 2 games a week
Dumbuya come from some non league team in outer mongolia
Friend thinks he;'s Franz Beckanbauer
Brown came from relegated Preston
why are so many people shocked ? I had us down for 5 defeats from the 1st 5. Its a good job Brighton, West Ham and Forest played so shit cos it would have been even more embarrassing
-
Via my man at the game, Milan been in attack most of this half.
Who`s Attack? I can`t remember his name mentioned!
-
Sounds like our some of our senior pro's have gone missing. Oster's been good so far this season but hardly heard his name mentioned today. Marked out of the game by Derby?
-
Wilson on for Chris Brown. Can anyone say anything positive about that? Maybe we are looking at the goal difference already?
It doesn't make much sense, except that Brown was probably not going to make the full game, and what other options did we have? Baxendale? Another junior player coming on, not a good situation.
-
Wilson on for Chris Brown. Can anyone say anything positive about that? Maybe we are looking at the goal difference already?
SOD never looks at league tables. The performance table and the treatment table are the only ones that matter.
-

But are far as SOD is concerned there isn't a different perspective. He only knows one way.
Sorry but I don't want to see lots of pretty football with no end product and lose every game.
-
Wilson on for Chris Brown. Can anyone say anything positive about that? Maybe we are looking at the goal difference already?
....and his attacking option was?
Baxendale I guess. Another kid, not what we need at the mo.
Poor performance. Nobody has really turned up. Not good at all.
-
At least the rain's stopped at The Oval.
-
Where`s the passion, fight and pride, totally non existant! f**king Shite, and this forum is a bag of shite as well, there`s about as much thrust in this forum as there is in our midfield, totally pissed off!!!

Oh well, Im RTID, wouldnt do anything else on a Saturday back in Doncaster
Safe journey.
-
Commentator summed it up very well. A shocker.
Confusing team selection, although the injury to out third top scorer (Copps) didn't help. Strange to leave Bennett on the bench and bring in the untried Brown.
Having said that if you don't defend as a team and close people down or just simply mark them, we're not going to do anything.

There's what I got from listening to the prat from Rovers media team and Tony Bluff.:headbang: :headbang: :headbang:
I like Tony. He's no Bradders. He's a bit of an old fart but he's OK.
:rtid: But on the performance :saywhat:
