Hoping for a draw at best.
1-1
Hayter
-
Not got a clue with this one. Could go either way and probably will at different stages of the game.
Wouldn't bet against Hayter scoring again.
With JOC back in back four and if he starts with Lalkovic up there with Hayter then let's take those 3 points. About time we won there.
-
Thought initially a draw but if for once SO'D goes for it ........a 2-0 win to the Rovers .
It's our time.
-
Up for it and getting players back. Cardiff 1 Rovers2
-
Nice to see a bit of optomism!

Anyway, there's the blog. Enjoy :rtid:

2-2 Milan and hayter

Predict a win then? ;)
-
I reckon a point will be ours. 1-1
-
I think Cardiff will beat us two-nil. We will go a goal down very early on and we all know what happens then. :chair:

No we said you were a ''minx'' LG

Team: Woods, O'Connor, Naylor, Friend, Dumbuya, Spurr, Oster, Gillett, Bennett, Coppinger, Hayter.
Bench: Sullivan, Hird, Wilson, Barnes, Lalkovic.
-
No Stock?
-
Woods is useless
-
Not the best of starts - Cardiff hitting the woodwork twice in the first 2 minutes
Come on Rovers get a grip!
-
positive start......
......for them
-
Lucky not to be 2 down already.
-
No Stock?
and no start for Lalkovic :(
-
Stock and Martis have not travelled today
-
both cannot be ready yet we do not want to rush them back. Lalkovic played last Saturday and Tuesday both 90mins then travelled back to Doncaster maybe did not train until Thursday or not.
-
0-0 at half time.
Lets hope we don't have our usual second half collapse.
-
Cardiff had one shot on target and that was blocked by Richard Naylor so Gary Woods has not made a save yet????

Hence the reason why the score is still 0-0 ;)
-
Changes during the game have put us in with a real chance here. A flat back 4 with Muzzy going wherever he wants, pull off Copps who is not quite fit yet and allow Lalkovic to go up with Hayter. Muzzy, Bennet and Lalkovic with the speed, Hayter with the brain and Gillet and Oster pulling the strings.......it might happen yet!
-
Lalkovic on for Naylor
-
Again a poor start - 2 early chances for Cardiff and not taken (thankfully)
-
Milan on for Naylor and Gary Woods makes TWO saves.
-
Woods saves :) Back post header again.
Think will be much more open this half, hope woods has his game to show us what he's made of.
Too much tea at half time I think from that first couple of mins
-
Muzzy goes back 4 and Copps in the wandering role, Lalkovic target and hayetr working off him. Going for a win!
-
1-0 to Cardiff
Back post header ... Deja vu
-
Shit b*llocks, f**king set piece at the back post again!
-
oh dear...
-
Shit!!
-
Muzzy at RB does n`t work!
-
Too small or needs to be able to jump higher, lessons from Roberts?
-
Nothing to come from this.
-
We're shite.
-
Muzzy at RB does n`t work!
How long will it take for SOD to learn that lesson?
-
We're shite.
Too true.
-
I'd rather have Hird in middle and JOC at full back.
-

SOD learn?
Don't make me laugh.
-
pots and kettles
-

Seems obvious to everyone except SOD
-
Presumably Naylor has felt his knee again, as soon as he goes off we concede! I can`t see us getting anything now balls into the box are few and far between and of poor quality!
-
Is there an obligation to play Lalkovic EVERY match as part of his loan? Forced change from the first half possibly, weakening the back with the chance to win after seeing the first half performance? Who knows.
-
Going to be tough now, need lads to believe they can get something
-
May as well turn the pc off because we all know how it well end up now.
-
Will this be 31 games without a victory in the league?
-
Surely its not that many
-
15 to 20 ?
-
Will this be 31 games without a victory in the league?
Yeah.. but it's the 'performances' that matter most
-
Surely its not that many
No it`s not, I forgot about the win at Derby in March, before that is was New Years day! 2 wins in 9 months!
-
12 last season, this potentially 6 this one....18 thats terrible
-
Beat Burnley 1st Feb as well.
-
Beat Burnley 1st Feb as well.
Go on then I`ll give you that, bet you can`t find another win in the league this year!
Whichever way you look at it, it can`t carry on, or relegation is a certainty this season!
-
Game Over
-
Don't panic, when all the injured players come back we will be a different team and start climbing the table. In SOD we trust..........................................yawn yawn
-
the only ones that matter at the moment are the six games without a win this season
1 point from as possible 18 is very poor
-
1st Jan league table.
Rovers were 13th but only 3 points from play-offs with game in hand!
What a difference.
And now it's 2-0
-
True to form, we capitulate! f**king fed up is not the word, this can`t carry on!
-

There's always a silver lining....it is the only time Wellred, Benaldo etc are happy is when we are losing.
-
The more defeats the players suffer and the confidence will just drain away.
That's when it gets really difficult.
One thing I have always had doubts about SOD perhaps is his inability to motivate.
-
Even though Reading are losing at home to Watford I don't fancy our chances there either.
Confidence must be shot, 1 win in 20 games and that against Tranmere, you can see heads drop everytime we concede like the writings on the wall and sounds same story today.
-
Well what a predictable game this is turning in to.
And I can see a thread in Viking Chat called \"positive thoughts.\" Are we still going to be saying that when we're REALLY in the shit.
-

Get real, no one is happy when we are losing, some folk want to look past the Rovers tint, the facts are we are still defensively poor with a poor keeper and we don`t create enough in the box! with that combination we are heading League 1 way fast!
-
3 points from safety already cant imagine how bad this could get in five games time

Don't talk such b*llocks you pillock. We are all on this forum because we are Rovers fans. Nobody likes it when we lose but some of you happy clappers can't see any problems.
-
I'm already looking towards the home games v Palace and Hull and trip to Peterborough as the week to get this season going. We DESPERATELY need a win to get the heads up and belief back
-
The biggest problem we have is we are a small team these days, the crowds never came to the Keepmoat as was hoped. I like critcism, but if its not constructive, why not just kick the cat.
-
Another save by Woods - come on lad!
-
Reportedly looking tired.....why?
Unless thats a symptom of lack of belief
-
Another save by Woods - come on lad!
And another... could have been 4-0
-
Never really expected anything better, but still disappointing.
-
Piss poor result, but not unexpected. I just can't see us getting a win with the lack of potent strikers and lack of concentration at the back
-
Thankfully that is over and done with without it getting out of hand and us conceding to many. Looked good at half time - second half we did not get out of the changing rooms. Poor defending for the first and after that we had little or nothing to offer.

Another of our problems, every team we play seems able to up the tempo, we remain one paced and predictable!
