Title: Pat Tillman
Post by: GM-MarkB on September 10, 2011, 06:19:46 am
With the new NFL season upon us and the anniversary of 9/11 tomorrow, I thought i'd post this story as a reminder to everyone that some sportsmen (and women) aren't all bad.

With my background in the sport, i'm well aware of Tillman and his sad, but inspiring, story. I'm pretty sure some of you will know the name too.

It's something that some of today's players should take note of when moaning about their lives and how hard they have it as a professional footballer

Quite a moving story Mark.
The cover up is something that most countries unfortunately do though.

Great story! Wonder how many Premiership players would consider doing the same?

On the evidence of the Wales game most of our lot won't risk a minor hamstring tear as a result of brisk jogging in the name of their country, let alone getting shot at!

Cnuts like El Hadj Diouf would probably pi$$ in their pants at the very thought of anything like this. F*ckwits like him don't deserve the living they have compared to blokes like Tillman.
