Will he be able to do a job for us? Having not hardly played since 2008 and having a pair of 36yo legs, will he be able to handle Championship football?

no could be embarrasing however doiuf hadent played much neither did beye or goulon and ikeme for that matter so who knows???

if he hasn't played much since 2008 his head will be 36 yr old and his legs 33 yr old then :woot: :woot: :woot: :welcome:

He should be able to do a decent job. I think sometimes we don't realise how much they might do off the pitch. i imagine he's probably hit the gym every single day, and is still pretty fit.

Worries me how he couldn't get a game for Hamiltion Accies (where we shipped Elliott off too) two years go and now 2 years on we have him. time will tell.

He was only at Hamilton a month.

hope it is just 4 cover be a bit harsh on hird who's played good last too matches. but im sure sam will get droped again for a worse player :chair:

You've not even seen him play yet cocker, how have you come to the decision he is a worse player. We have 2 fit centre halves, we need another one. Now we've got one,

i hope he is brilliant but come on it dont look to great. im sure he will be 3rd best centre half though not much competition

We don't have enough fit centre halves so we've signed one! Who else could we have signed??

I see one of his former clubs was Al-Ahly SC in Qatar. I hope he's better than the last one of their former players we signed (that was about 12 months ago).

His injury record makes me rather nervous too.

That club was near bottom of the Quatar league and seems he didn't get a game with them. I'm thinking desperate times for us rather than a star item in our featured offers shop window. We'll see :scarf:

I understand your concerns but were desperate for defensive cover, we couldn't of signed anyone better at this moment in time. So not sure what else we could of done?
