how dodgy was this chap today , come out flapping at balls and got no where near any of them.
Could have cost us the win in this game.
I think most agree with my sentiments
No where near good enough for the championship at present :chair:

Agreed. If Sully and Ikeme are out for a while we need to find someone else.
-
Weve dragged ourselves back into this league. It would be a shame if we threw away that progress by not bringing in another goalkeeper.
Iv tried to defend him been a young un. He is useless however.
-
He did look troubled, he will come good, but he's still not ready. However, we have nobody else so we get behind him.
-
Will he come good? Sometimes, if you're shite, you're shite.
-
I feel I am a great judge of a player, and he is poor at best. We will get an emergency loan in.
-
sorry he is just not good enough, does not attempt to collect a ball, hope deano is well aware of the situation.cannot now afford to not have strength in goal.he was very fortunate in the last 10 mins today, excellent performance from the lads.:scarf:
-
If it is any help I have written to the big man asking for a new one (goalie that is) for Christmas
:scarf:

Woodsy is scary beyond belief, nowhere good enough at this level or the level below unfortunately..............it needs sorting out as a priority.
-
Flappier than a flock of pigeons.
-
taxi for woods. he does not command his box, was rooted to the spot for their goal which ikeme would have closed down - and probably prevented. unwilling to committ to pluck balls out of the air on corners and generally lacking in confidence.
we have to get an emergency loan in or it will cost us points. with the rest of the team coming together nicely we cannot afford to blow it now.
-
Keeping Gary Woods in goal lost Sean his job. So Jr and the board you need to spend more money for another keeper otherwise forget backing the Mc Kay system.
-
Listening to Saunders on player, I got the feeling we'll have a new keeper in sooner rather than later. Thing with Saunders is he will criticise his players for making mistakes and he commented on Woods misjudging a few things today. Sounds to me like they know he's not strong in that area but it's something they'll work on with him. Definitely think a new keeper will come in though.

Has he EVER kept a clean sheet??
-
Has he EVER kept a clean sheet??
His debut against Burnley.
Not sure other than that.
-
.... dont know whether he should take blame for at least 2 corners late on either which could have been left by JOC as both looked to be going dead
Maybe a call WAS made by Woods and not heard or other players MAY or should have shouted but all that happened was pressure from them that gave them a late head of steam
As I say this may not be fair to be laid at the door of Number 33 Woodsy - as he seems to have enough to answer for in the thread already

Personally, I don't think Woods is anywhere near Championship standard. Every single time the ball went into the area in the last 15 minutes 100% of the homes crowd were crossing their fingers and that's something we never did with Ikeme. And when the away fans did the traditional homage to a suspect keeper even angry yoda behind me said \"bang to rights got him\".
Nothing against the kid personally, I hope he becomes the worlds greatest ever keeper and stays here for for years, but I doubt this will happen.

Forest last season.

Can`t be blamed for the goal, but those last 10 minutes were an exhibition in the art of flapping, being nailed to the goal line does n`t help!
