2 striking memories I have of Gilly...

1. A youth team game I watched, he got a hat trick, left, right and head, I thought he was going to be the mutts nuts. Greeny also played right wing (badly) and cilla blacks nephew somehwere in midfield.

2. After being subbed in a game towards the end of the season, telling the club doctor \"Doc, I can't run. My bollock's the size of an orange!\"

Always rated him personally, good partnership with Barnes and far better than Jackson.

It's so old IE just tried to open it in Hebrew.

Chris Beech gets a mention though - a man who was still a Rovers player two years later, and was yesterday replaced as manager at Rochdale.
