Just listened to the Radio Sheffield interview again. It sounds like its a shame Dick Watson has left, but sounds like Terry Bramall has half left him in the lurch, so once again...John Ryan is the last man standing...
He's been there before and as he said, I think we should all rally around him and get behind the team!
So I thought we should do a thread with encouragement for him, maybe for Gartom to show him, might cheer him up a bit!

If it wasnt for john ryan we wouldnt have a football club !!!
Some fans forget the work,time & millions hes put into the club & all the success hes given the club over the last 10 or so years .
All clubs have there ups & downs & if it wasnt for all these DONNY WHITES, DONNY OWLS or DONNY BLADES there would be more fans supporting the rovers putting more money into the club.
Wish i had a couple of million to put into the rovers !!!

Not sure that sir john thinks that all fans love him from what he said on radio sheff last night , he sounded well pissed off with some of our so called fans !!!!! :headbang:

I sit in the east stand and have so called supporters turn up week after week and do nothing but whinge and moan whether we play well n win or lose. Others around them have told them to shut up or push off but still they come and shout negatives very loadly. Everyone has an opinion but it does wear you down week in week out.
It begs the question why bother turning up if ya not contributing positively or enjoying the game. Strange people.
In by gone days Rovers had big crowds but it's just seems its not Gunna happen again.
Fickle fans,no money,poor form all excuses that cover the truth.
I believe if Rovers got in the prem the fans would still be fickle n pick n choose.
It's a massive shame they only show up for the big games at wembley etc, this shows theyre out there just won't commit.
John Ryan deserves a medal for what he has done for Rovers and I for one will always be there as I was in the conference days and before.
Every Rovers fan wants to put a million quid in to help but thats not realistic. We do our bit as best we can.
Stop the whinging and get behind John he got us this far why should it change.

Every walk of life has its detractors. Its a fact of life English people like to moan and football is no different. 99.9% of rovers fans love this club and all the members of it, unfortunately publicity only seems to be made of the 0.1%. TAKE NO NOTICE JR we the majority
think you are great and the best thing that ever happened to your beloved team. If the moaners carry on moaning then pity them for they know not what they do. ROVERS TILL I DIE
