Actually it's ice hockey on a frozen inlet of water next to the street Rob (see the boat on the right). Still brilliant.

It's one of those streets you often find in Holland with a lot of very ordinary houses (my end) and a few mansions (the other end in the picture) where the other half lives just a few hundred yards and a few million euros away. Social extremes and very Dutch social engineering - still trying to work out if it's a success.

Anyway, Holland can be a hopelessly boring landscape - until it freezes. I am enjoying a few precious days of Holland at its absolute best.
