Line- up

Button, Chimbonda, Spurr, Hird, Lockwood, Stock, Gillett, Barnes, Bamogo, Hayter, Diouf.

Subs: Martis, Robert, Oster, O'Connor, Bagayoko.

Woods must be injured. Have to say we look very light in midfield again. At least Barnes has reappeared.

I have a horrible feeling that one day this no Goalkeeper on the bench tactic will hurt us

Hopefully not today

We all agreed we needed to alter midfield, not much more he could have done

Cant see where he's changed it tbh, 1 player change, and another forced 1. We sill look very weak there, needed an extra man in there imo. Plessis for Bamogo or Hayter would've been much better.

Post by: MrFrost on February 18, 2012, 03:06:46 pm
He obviously doesn't fancy playing Plessis for what ever reason. Not even on the bench.

Whats the refs got against us, we`ve kicked off with 10 men after the ref sends Chimbonda back to the dressing rooms!! :headbang:
Title: Re: Leeds United v Donny Rovers
Post by: JamesRTID on February 18, 2012, 03:08:21 pm
Perhaps it's going to be a packed 5 man midfield with Hayter on his own up top?
Title: Re: Leeds United v Donny Rovers
Post by: dickos1 on February 18, 2012, 03:10:11 pm
You can't see how he's changed it? There's 2 changes out of 3. We do still look lightweight but what other change could he do? Plessis is either injured or nowhere near fit

Im done with them...no heart...no fight...no desire to hold on to anything.

Same old capitulation again...talk about shooting ourselves in the foot...Leeds there for the taking today and, with a 2-0 lead, conspire to let them back into it.

Mr Soundbite talks about not giving soft goals away and yet we do that yet again.

If we do end up going down we'll look back at this game as a huge opportunity squandered.

Faulty here has to lay with Saunders i'm afraid. Listened to the game, and it seems he was telling them to play way too deep, and Leeds have exploited this.

We have missed a hatful of chances again with Hayter the main culprit.

Bottom when he came here, still bottom with less time to sort it out and now throwing it away from a position of strength.

Wrong man at the wrong time...but we're stuck with him now.

Yup.  Why do we bother?  That's 3 points plain chucked away.  What's the betting that they'll be key come end of season?

To those who would question the Donny public's commitment to maintaining a Championship team: the reason we don't get 15,000 crowds in every week is because of shite like this.  I don't f**king blame 'em for not turning up to watch capitulations like today.  Play well, get a 2-goal second half lead, lose.  It's not just one match, it's a loser's habit, late goal after late goal.  When I've calmed down I might check out and post the woeful stats.  Or maybe I'll just throw the computer through the bleeding window.

I can't remember being as sick about losing a game in a long time.
