Title: Athletic Bilbao

Very impressive again tonight.

I like Bilbao, I like that they had a Yorkshire cricket style rule that you had to be Basque to play for them. They only dropped that relatively recently.

I also like the fact they use the English spelling Athletic instead of the Spanish Athletico. The Basque flag is a red, White and green union jack too.

Oh the joys of seeing Man Utd knocked out of Europe twice in the same season.. First by Basil Brush and now by Bilbo Baggins. Fancy getting stuffed home and away by one of those 'crap Spanish teams.' The Spanish league is crap aint it? :laugh: There's only 2 teams in it who are any good aint there? :laugh:  Now where have I heard that before? ;)

They actually still are a Basque-only side, that rule is still in effect it is just a little wider encompassing than it used to be.
