I just hope we play a lot better than we did in the last two. If we do, maybe we'll have something to build on for Tuesday at Palace (which I've always viewed as winnable) and then an unpredictable Birmingham on Friday.

I'm pretty sure Billy's going to score today though.

I'm worried that we'll got tonked today and lose by atleast 3 goals

final score 3-0

Feel free to prove me wrong though boys  :scarf:

I just want to see a big improvement from the last 2 games, if we're going down then fair enough but atleast show some fight   :boxing:

Unable to get to this game and I'm absolutely gutted. I'm with you guys n gals and RW for this one. I detest not being there, it's an absolute killer.

I'm shitting myself and fear for us today. Hope I'm wrong like.

I'll go for a high scoring game

I'm gunna plump for a rather optimistic 1-1 scoreline with both goals coming in the 2nd half.

If we concede a goal first in the first-half then we'll get battered 5-1.

I don't think it's a stupid thing to say, especially considering that John Ryan said himself that there was no effort from the players in Tuesday nights defeat.

Sorry, didn't really elaborate on that.

I just think its pretty obvious he will give 100% today, he's just been put back in the side and will want to prove a point, just like any other player would! But in a few games he'll be singled out by our fickle supporters as \"not being anywhere near Championship standard\"

Fair point, Lockwood will see this as an opportunity to have a decent run in the side. I don't think he's been up to Championship standard for the past few seasons though, thats if he ever was 'championship standard' player to begin with if i'm being honest.

Perhaps not, the same could be said for Hird, O'Connor, Hayter and others. But for people on here to rip into these players like they do, after everything these men have done for this club, and then support players like Habib Beye, a player who spends the whole week in a different country and turns up for match days is an absolute disgrace.

0-0 after 5, thats a relief!

I'll go for an optimistic 2-2.

Expected Muzzy to be on the bench at least.

Habib Beye is a good defender but i find that disgusting tbh, i wonder what his team mates think about him not training with us for the majority of the week? Shows a complete lack of respect and commitment to this club!

Read somewhere that Beye trains 2 days here and 3 days in France with another club as all his family live in France. Seems pretty fair to me considering the amount we're paying for him.

Hmm, fair? Really? Lots of people work away from home, some have to accept not seeing there family for months.

Anyway, this is this match day thread.

How are we doing for anyone thats listening? Hard to get an idea through BBC text commentary.

When you sell the only good striker and consistent goalscorer ( and in effect your only goalscorer) you've had while you've been in this league its pretty obvious you haven't a hope in hell of staying in that league unless he's replaced. And when he's there to score for the opposition it's one hell of a kick in the bo**cks

May have been a little to do with it, but Billy reported to be in due to others being injured. Doesn't sound like he's done that well - sounds like we were unfocused for the corner when he scored.

We're still well in this game. Other scores going our way bar Boro/Bristol.

Ha ha Sharp booked. A good striker is not just aboutg goals scored. The team Billy's in is a treat for strikers. Will judge him on his quality not his width.
