came across this on eon website, anyone who is wanting to save some pennies

on offer for £3 i bought on seems to do the job

Scottish Power and British Gas were giving these out for free for a long time.....got six of 'em in out house, absolutely brilliant, one socket generally which is permanently live (for your hd recorded - Sky/ Virgin etc) and the other cuts all power to the device.
