Try selling it yourself first....much easier these days with the Internet, social networking etc, we have done it ourselves on the last two house moves, saved us a small fortune.

I've just sold mine with John B Robinson'. Seem a decent outfit.
Oh, and i'd definately reccomend Attey's for your solicitors. Very good rates and really on the ball.

aye, ive had john robinson round, valued it at 125. johnsons valued it at 95, bit of a difference there. 2 more valuations next week.would prefer to get estate agents involved i think. thanks for advice anyway.

Hi,
Johnsons well known for good pricing! sold mine 2 yrs ago within a month with them, depends how greedy you want to be or if / when you want to move??
Funny enough had valuations myself as thinkingof moving again. As you say huge variation in valuations £50K from highest to lowest.
Feel Johnsons are realistic?!?!

I had a valuation with Johnsons and they said my house was worth £120,000. JohnBRobinson' said it was worth £135,000, we got £131,000 so i'm glad we didn't go with Johnsons.

Ring Your Move Doncaster and ask for Danielle. They are a good outfit.

Sold mine through Horton Knights. Good outfit, really good advert on Rightmove, and even negotiated on my behalf to buy my new house. Pretty good rates too.

Hi to anyone
I have a property coming to market and I would like a DIY Sale
Anyone have a good tip or tips on which Site to use.
I am not a Facebook user but I could put it on E-bay I suppose but would not like to "lose" 10% for a completed sale - unless someone tells me its less than that for houses
One snag may be my target audience is probably not as Internet "savvy" as usual - as the street I am selling in usually attracts an older clientele ... but hey any tips as I said will be gratefully received
Cheers DW

Thanks for that
I will look later ... will also use DFP ... and I discovered E-Bay classified Ads for £35 (total cost with no % on the Price you get)
Thanks again

I've been dealing with Haart recently, and can't really recommend them. I never get the feeling they are working in the full interests of the client.
Plus every time I ring them I feel I'm ringing a "cheap-shoed b@#tard" (c) MarkB 2005
